Introduced in 1953, the AC Ace roadster and its closed Aceca coupe sibling were based on a chassis design by John Tojeiro, with four-wheel independent suspension and transverse leaf springs. The sleek body was inspired by early Ferrari barchettas.
The engine availability tribulations that emerged as production progressed—ultimately fostering AC’s positive response to Carroll Shelby’s inquiries—are well known, as both AC’s own 2-liter six and the Bristol 2-liter ended production in the late 1950s. AC cast about for a replacement, of which the best known is the thinwall-casting small Ford V-8 that powered the Cobra. But AC also produced a limited series of Ace Roadsters powered by Ford of England’s 2.6-liter (2,553-cubic-centimeter) pushrod overhead-valve inline-six, as used in the Zephyrs and Zodiacs.
The 2.6 proved to be the best Ace of all, with up to 170 horsepower from the Ruddspeed-tuned engines, which were offered as options by the factory. This engine was more compact than the AC or Bristol sixes, and the lower engine height gave AC’s designers latitude to redesign the body from the cowl forward with a lower bonnet line. Its redesigned, smaller grille eliminated the “mustache” character line under the headlamps of earlier Aces. It is this body that was adopted, with only minor changes to clear wider tires and other small details, for Shelby’s earliest leaf-spring Cobras.
This McLaren 720S Spider is a stunning example of the marque’s exhilarating open-top supercar, boasting low mileage and single-family ownership from new.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 710 bhp, it delivers power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift. The 720S accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and 0-124 mph in 7.9 seconds, before reaching a claimed top speed of 212 mph.
With just 9,600 miles on the odometer, this well-maintained supercar offers a thrilling combination of breathtaking performance and open-air driving excitement.

Ford created a new class of car almost overnight with the introduction of the Mustang sports coupé part way through the 1964 season, catching the rest of the US auto industry off guard. Brainchild of Lee Iacocca - subsequent saviour of the Chrysler Corporation – the Mustang is one of the most remarkable automotive success stories of modern times and arguably the pinnacle of his long career with Ford. Aimed at the affluent young, for whom a car was as much a lifestyle statement as a means of transport, the Mustang succeeded brilliantly, achieving sales over a quarter million by the end of '64. This remarkable debut was followed by a staggering 524,791 sales in 1965, earning Ford a fortune.
The secret of the Mustang's success was a broad appeal that extended beyond the target market thanks to a great value-for-money package combining sporty looks, decent economy and brisk performance. Mustangs could be ordered in specifications ranging from six-cylinder 'economy' to V8-powered luxury. At the same time, customers could choose from an extensive range of factory options, with the result that seldom are two Mustangs identical. The Mustang was enlarged and restyled for 1969 and again for 1971, but of all the many versions since 1964, the early cars are by far the most desirable.
This 1965 'D' code Mustang, imported into the UK in 2018, has a rich history. Restored in the US circa 2010, it has been upgraded with many features, including American racing wheels, a Shelby Steering Wheel, and upgraded dash instruments. These practical upgrades, along with the visuals of a Shelby Esque motorcar, make it a unique find.
This Mustang is one of the finest driving examples with ample power, direct steering input and longer drive, making it very usable on long-distance journeys.
Since coming into stock, we have personally tested the car over 200 miles, and it maintains a cool temperature. The two speed heater has been faultless. In-car entertainment is provided by a DAB radio with a 5 CD Changer; ancillaries include two 12V USB charging ports in the glovebox. The larger bolster seats provide superior support to the original type; however, the original interior and parts package is supplied with the car for the purists.
Recently supplied with a FIVA identity card, this motorcar is eligible for many historic events worldwide.

- Full AC heritage works restoration completed in 2020
- Rare Factory Hardtop
-Long term keeper from 1968-2019
This Ace Bristol, in particular, left the Thames Ditton factory on the 24th of May 1960, as specified in Black Pearl coachwork paired with Red leather and a black top and tonneau. The agent who sold the Ace was none other than Ken Rudd's outfit, K.N Rudd Ltd of Worthing Sussex, and was received by the first owner, Mrs D Probert of Walnut Creek, California. The Ace remained at Proberts UK residence. The ownership chain is covered in a continuation buff log bog showing the second owner as a famed Automotive and Military vehicle designer, Robert Jankel. He acquired the vehicle in the spring of 1963, following a five-year custodianship; he then sold the Ace in July 1968 to Mr James Wright of Yorkshire. Mr Wright would go on to use the car well, with some lovely period photographs on file; he would be the registered keeper for the next fifty-one years when the most recent owner purchased the motorcar.
He would embark on a ground-up restoration at the AC heritage works, stripping the Ace to a bare chassis, fitting it on our factory jig brackets, and ensuring the vehicle was to original specification, retaining as much of the original tube work as possible. All aluminium work was carried out on our original wooden AC Ace bucks from Thames Ditton. As you'd expect, the entire drivetrain was rebuilt at this time with a nicely specified Quaife ATB differential. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt at this time with the addition of an overdrive, a much-needed essential for touring.
The coachwork was returned to the stunning original specification of Black Pearl with Red Leather Trim. New hood and tonneau was supplied, and the factory hardtop was repainted at this time. With only 400 miles since restoration, this Ace is one of the finest examples on the market and is ready to be enjoyed.

Introduced in 1954 at the Earls Court Motor Show, the AC Aceca fastback, the new model shared the ladder-framed chassis and the majority of steering and running gear with the Ace roadster. The refined interior of the coupe version added a dash of comfort to the minimally equipped Ace Roadster.
A lightweight aluminium sports car initially powered by the AC Weller-derived six-cylinder engine, in 1956, Bristol engines could be equipped and increase performance; the last engine derivative was the 2.6 Zephyr ruddspeed in the early sixties.
This unique Triumph-engined car, TAE 618, left the Thames Ditton factory on 2nd July 1957. Finished in Gunmetal with red leather and fitted with a 4-speed gearbox with overdrive on third and top, and was duly delivered to dealers K.N. Rudd Ltd and then onto first owner Wing Commander G T Dale. In October 1971, it became the property of the most recent custodian, who used it as his daily transport until 1981, when it was laid up in the garage for numerous decades.
It would then be a featured piece on the television show Car SOS . Those familiar will know a relative of the car's owner, who might be ill or a little infirm and unable to face the task of restoring their beloved motor car, comes up with a plan to secretly spirit it out of its resting place to be collected by Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend and sent off for a full restoration which is fully documented and edited down to a one-hour television program (this episode was first broadcast in April 2016).
The SOS team carried out the majority of the work. The engine was rebuilt by TRGB, and the restoration retained the glorious red leather seats and door cards, but the carpets and headlining were also replaced.
It has since been displayed at the National Motor Museum 2015-16, and Gaydon Motor Museum for the Car SOS show in 2019. It has also featured in Practical Classics, Classic Car Weekly, and the AC Club Magazine.
Sadly, this vehicle is now on offer from Mr Chana's estate, and the limited use of the car alongside storage conditions has caused issues with the paintwork, in the form of micro blistering. The motorcar drives, steers, starts and stops. However, we recommend a light recommissioning to the vehicle.

This Motorcar is a superbly presented and remarkably specified example of AMG’s breathtaking supercar.
The Mercedes SLS was the first car to be developed entirely in-house by AMG from the ground up. Mercedes gave their engineers an opportunity to live out their automotive fantasies without any restrictions starting from a blank sheet of paper, and a full 37 months later the SLS was born. This was AMG’s opportunity to shy away from the all too familiar big engine executive saloon car recipe and compete with the likes of the Ferrari 599 GTB and later the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta as an out and out super GT car. Unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the SLS was seen as a spiritual successor to the legendary 1954 300 SL Gullwing featuring the iconic gullwing doors for the first time in over half a century. The retro styling of the SLS AMG was something that instantly caught the imagination with its very long bonnet and set rear cabin which made you feel like you are sitting on the rear axle, so there was a sense very early on that this was going to be a future classic. Whilst the gullwing doors may have been the eye-catching attention grabber, the show's real star was its 6.2 Litre naturally aspirated V8 engine. Producing 563 bhp and 479 lb ft of torque, Mercedes claimed it was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated production series engine ever made at the time. More than 120 different parts were used in the SLS engine to differentiate it from the other 6.2 Litre AMG engines with all this power transferred through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic gearbox which was connected to the engine through a lightweight carbon fibre driveshaft. The V8 bellow to this day is one of the best sounding engines in history, made all the more important by the industry’s move since then towards downsized turbocharged engines. Over the following 5 years, Mercedes updated the SLS range with further variants and special editions before production finally ended in 2014, and the SLS was replaced in 2015 with the AMG GT.
This particular car was in single ownership from new until 2022; when we purchased the SLS it has been a fantastic car to use throughout Europe, and very much loved part of the Brooklands stable.
Furthermore, the air conditioning system was regassed last year and fitted two rear tyres.

-Period Rally Entrant(Monte Carlo, Liege Rome Liege,Geneva,Alpine and Tulip Rally)
-Single-family ownership from 1989-2018
- Ruddspeed 2.6 Ford engine upgrade with four-speed and overdrive
Introduced in 1954 at the Earls Court Motor Show, the AC Aceca fastback was a lightweight aluminium sports car initially powered by the AC Weller-derived six-cylinder engine. The new model shared the ladder-framed chassis and most of the steering and running gear with the Ace roadster.
This motorcar, in particular, was the 8th Aceca built. It left the factory on July 2, 1955, to be delivered to agent K.N Rudd Ltd of Worthing. It was initially specified in Bright Blue Metallic with red leather trim. The original AC engine unit was number CL2165W and was fitted to an overdrive gearbox from the new.
The first owner was a fascinating character: Mr Tommy G Clarke, a Brooklands racer in a Bugatti, a Winter Olympian, a two-time Le Mans racer, and a class winner in the Mille Miglia. He would have grand plans for the Aceca. The first event for the Aceca was one of the most important as AC Works entry into the Monte Carlo Rally of 1956. Disaster struck 36 hours before the start of the Rally when a service tester pranged the Aceca into the back of a lorry. It was returned to the Thames Ditton factory, and the workforce pulled together to prepare the car for the start line. Motorsport Magazine covered the repair in one of their magazines. It is worth noting that a third wiper from the roof of the Aceca was fitted before the Monte by the factory, which can be seen in the period photographs.
The AC team would consist of three Acecas: Peter Easton/ Peter Garnier, the European contingent of Jaques Pollet/Jack Leveque, and Tommy Clarke/Keith Baker. WPG7 would be the only Aceca to finish the event, achieving a respectable 57th overall and 6th in class.
The next outing for WPG7, one of three works Aceca for the Tulip Rally in Class L: Grand Touring 1600-2000cc. The Rally started on May 6, 1956. After 1460 miles, it ended with the final day at Zandvoort. WPG7 placed second of the AC works entrants, at 127th place.
Later that month, Clarke entered the smaller Geneva Rally with the new codriver Richmond. The route followed Geneva—St. Etienne-Milan—Geneva. Another successful finish for the Aceca was 36th place.
Unfortunately, the reunited Clarke/Baker team's first retirement would be at the Alpine Rally in July. A series of issues, including a broken rear spring, wheel spokes, and a lazy oil pump, caused failures at this event.
Clarke's final Rally in WPG7 at Liege-Rome-Liege Rally would follow similar results as the previous event with a retirement.
The latter results wouldn't dishearten Clarke. He competed in the Mille Miglia in 1957 in a Bristol-engined variant of the Aceca, allowing the model to compete in contemporary editions.
A final attempt with WPG 7, Clarke had entered into a non-championship race at the Oulton Park International run by the mid-Chesire motor club in September 1956, with the result unknown.
As mentioned, Clarke's purchase of the Aceca Bristol left this surplus to requirements and was sold. We have found evidence of the car sprinting in 1959 at Brands Hatch.
The next significant owner was Mr B Burnage of Southampton. In 1989, he was a recently retired gentleman of the motor trade with a profound, almost innate grasp of all things automotive who had the time to realise his ambition of 'doing up an old car'. A contact at a trim shop mentioned an old sports car that a client had been unable to pay a hefty bill for since 1970. Knowing Mr Burnage's background, the shop owner allowed it to move on.
A complete restoration ensued, with all the work being methodically carried out by Mr Burnage and his son, who fully restored the rolling project to a high standard. The original engine "CL2165W' had long been in the AC Ace "AE37", so they decided to use the Ford Zephyr 2.6 engine, the largest capacity engine available in Aceca's period, alongside various touring upgrades, including front anti-roll bar, steering rack conversion and Ford 4-speed overdrive, available in all gears.
The only work that was subcontracted out was the trimming to the well-known outfit Mike Thomas in Petersfield.
Since the restoration, 33,000 miles have been covered with numerous attendances to European events. It was sold to the most recent custodian in 2018 and has formed part of a small collection in North Wales.
The history file for this motorcar is vast and very thorough. On file are original copies of magazines covering the Monte Carlo. The restoration file includes photographs and correspondence between AC Cars and the owner.
As the car stands, it would be suited to long European tours because of its outstanding torque.
However, as a pre-1957 AC Aceca with such a great history, it would be a good candidate for the Mille Miglia. It only needs minor changes, most notably the engine and gearbox.
At an additional cost, we have the AC engine from an Aceca that was one chassis number apart on the production line, as close to matching numbers as possible, that can be fitted to the car. We can also assist with fitting a Bristol Engine if preferred.

The Sunbeam Alpine is a plucky little British sports car that was produced by the Rootes Group from 1953 to 1955 and then again from 1959 to 1968. It quickly gained popularity, especially in the United States as it was offered as a two-seater convertible or roadster. It went through several different series and models during its production run, with various engine options and design changes, but importantly, it became a properly impressive competition car. A real David amongst Goliaths.
9201 RW is one of the three Sunbeam Alpines built by the Rootes Competition Department for the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans race. It was the first of the three cars to be completed and took part in the pre-race test day in April 1962, where it was driven by Peter Harper, lapping the Circuit de la Sarthe in just five minutes 8.6 seconds - some 12 seconds per lap faster than had been managed by either of the Alpines in practice for the previous year's race.
Both 9201 RW and 9202 RW were equipped with a 1,592cc inline-four-cylinder engine known as the 'Rapier 1725' engine, derived from the standard Sunbeam Rapier engine found in the road-going Sunbeam Alpine. Initially generating approximately 83bhp, this figure proved somewhat conservative, especially after Brabham's team worked their magic in preparation for the 1963 race.
9201 RW was a reserve entry for the 1962 race and, whilst it was unable to start, it took part later in the year in the Tourist Trophy at Goodwood, piloted by Peter Harper, where it was the fastest of the three Alpines in the race, finishing in 12th place overall and sixth in class.
With competition in motorsport continually evolving and intensifying, the Rootes engineering team realized that more significant modifications were imperative for the Alpine's prospects at Le Mans. In preparation for the 1963 campaign, weight needed to be shed and more power had to be harnessed. The most notable changes revolved around the engine compartment. Jack Brabham's organisation prepared the engines, lightening and polishing crankshafts, lightening pushrods, and replacing Zenith carburettors with 40 DCOE Webers, while increasing the compression ratio to 12.5:1. These modifications, along with further lightening of the body, had the desired effect as far as speed was concerned, but at the expense of reliability.
Two of the 1962 cars were retained by the factory team and entered for the 1963 Le Mans race. 9201 RW was driven by Peter Harper and Peter Procter (race number 33), while Keith Ballisat and 'Tiny' Lewis took the reins of 9202 RW (race number 32). The Harper/Procter car retired after 13 hours with a blown head gasket, whereas the Ballisat/Lewis car made it to hour 19, until it broke its crank while leading the under 2-litre class. As well as the Le Mans races, both 9201 RW and 9202 RW were used on a number of rallies, including the Monte Carlo, RAC, Tulip and Tour de France.
During the tenure of its previous owner, from 1988 to 2015, 9201 RW received an extensive yet very careful restoration to then enjoy a second racing career, retaining its original 'Works' colours, registration number and 1963 Le Mans specification, albeit with a milder compression ratio to increase reliability. Unsurprisingly, its second wind of racing was significantly busier than its original career with the Rootes works team, including taking part in several Le Mans Classic races as well as appearances at the Goodwood Revival - on one occasion being driven by former Rootes works driver Peter Procter. When the car was stripped for restoration, numerous period modifications were found still to be intact, and were thankfully retained including the alloy panels, original Microcell seats, dual electrics, and BR front disc brakes.
This well-preserved car, accompanied by current FIA HTP papers valid until 2026, is eligible for a wide array of events worldwide. Whether you choose to embark on long-distance HERO rallies or vigorously compete at Le Mans and Goodwood, it offers an underrated but exceptional slice of British racing history, steeped in decades of experience and captured through a multitude of period photos spanning decades.
It not only runs beautifully and drives well but races even better, making it an excellent choice for global competition. All these remarkable qualities make this car an enticing addition to the world of historic racing.

- Bristol engine fitted by Ken Rudd before the first factory Aceca Bristol

- Period circuit racing history (Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Crystal Palace)
- Fully restored by AC Heritage Works to FIA Specification.
- Eligible to all the major sporting events including Mille Miglia and Goodwood Revival
We are delighted to present to market one of our personal AC Heritage collection motorcars.
This AC Aceca ‘AE550’ was ordered by E.J Patten of London and it was specified in Metalline Blue with Grey Leather interior, The AC engine ‘CL227’ was fitted.
The Thames Ditton factory completed it on the 7th of April 1956 and was delivered to Ken Rudd’s of Worthing, to be prepared as one of three works Aceca for the Tulip Rally in Class L: Grand Touring 1600 -2000cc. John Patten was the driver alongside navigator Lt James S Hanson. The Tulip Rally started on the 6th of May 1956. After 1460 miles ending in with the final day at Zandvoort. AE550 placed the highest of all AC works entrants 72nd Overall and 3rd in Class.
After the great success on the continent the car returned to Ken Rudds to be prepared for circuit racing. Rudd was the pioneer for the Bristol conversion in the Ace and saw it fitting to put a Bristol engine in the Aceca. This engine change to Bristol Sports 2398 was notified to the London County Council on the 27th of June 1956. The first factory built Aceca Bristol was completed on the 16th of July 1956.
The next outing for the Aceca was at Crystal Palace in South London for the August Trophy Meeting as part of the 7-lap sports Car B race. A wonderful photo can be found of Patten alongside the notable Mille Miglia AC Ace of Bruno Ferrari, whilst it was still under AC engine power. The Bristol engined Aceca proved to be too much for Mr Ferrari. As Patten placed 2nd to Chris Bristows MG special.
The 1957 season was very dramatic for the Heathrow based driver.Patten had re-entered the Tulip rally once again this time alongside navigator M. Carson. The event took place on the 5th-11th of May and into a more competitive class of larger capacity engines. “Group 4 Grand Touring Cars 1601-2600cc” its main opposition was the works TR3’s of Standard Triumph including John Waddington and Paddy Hopkirk
In the rally, Patten found himself at the start of the all-important final round race at the Zandvoort Circuit with a chance of a class win if he beat the works TR3’s. He led for two of the three laps and then thought all he needed was to gain 3rd place in this race for a class win, therefore the overall victory.
Unfortunately, Waddington in the leading TR3 won an appeal against lost points on a previous stage and took the class win.
2nd in Class and 17th overall was the swan song to the car's racing career. The five-day battle by the Aceca against the TR3’s and the final race in Zandvoort was described by John Gott in Autosport as the highlight of the 1957 European rally season. At the end of 1957, it was sold and used solely for road use by Mr D. Pickering of Oxshott, Surrey until 1960. Changing hands to some short-term owners. When it passed onto Mrs Victoria Webb of Portobello Road, London in 1964 and her family would be a long time owners of the car until the late 1980’s when Colin Mitchell of Redditch purchased the car, it would then be restored by Colin and his son Andrew. They would go on to own the car for forty years until we purchased the car in 2016 and carried out a full ground-up restoration to FIA specification.
We media blasted the body chassis unit. It was then fitted to our factory jig brackets we made various repairs with the objective to retain as much of the original panel work, it was at this point we fitted our front and rear anti roll bars and steering upgrades. After 100’s hours of Metalwork, the suspension and brakes were fully rebuilt including uprated rear hubs. After the car was made into a roller we had a FIA-approved Andy Robinson Roll cage fitted. Furthermore, we resprayed the Aceca to the AC Silver with a vinyl FIA style band and roundels. We decided to retain the original seats and re-trim the dash in black alongside the bespoke headlining. The engine was lightly refreshed before fitment. Shortly there after a full rewire with many ancillaries fitted.
A fully comprehensive list of the specification of the car is as follows:
- Custom Removable FIA Specification roll cage (Robinson Race Cars)
- Limited Slip Differential
- 4 speed with overdrive in all gears
- Uprated heavy duty Rear hubs
- Front and Rear Anti Roll Bar
- Full Lifeline Fire system
- Internal Battery cut off

The history file of this Aceca is vast including the all-important letter from the London County Council regarding the Bristol conversion, Tulip Rally Programmes, Rally Notes, Race Programmes/Photos, Press coverage from Autosport. Alongside the contemporary history including the 1980s restoration and our most recent AC heritage restoration.
With an unrepeatable history like this, AE550 is certainly one of the finest AC Aceca’s available, eligible for Goodwood Revival, Mille Miglia and many more.

-The Final ‘EF’ Prefix Cobra/428 Chassis to leave the factory, and only example with fitted engine and gearbox.
-Clothed in the original aluminium coachwork of the Prototype Allard J2X
-UK Road Registered.
The Allard and AC/Shelby story shares many similarities, albeit over a decade apart.
It’s widely thought that Shelby’s time racing the Allard J2 stayed with him, The car is a lightweight British sportscar with a big American V8 providing effortless power and torque. This combination of a British car with its great handling and low curb weight, coupled with a powerful and inexpensive American engine would form the basis of the Shelby Cobra.
This unique motorcar started life when Mr Waterlow, then owner of the Allard J2X prototype (MGT 850) delighted with the coachwork of the J2X decided to attempt to improve the handling and power of the car and placed an order of right hand drive rolling AC 428 Chassis with engine and manual gearbox from AC Cars.
He entrusted Paul Emery of Emery Cars fame to transfer the original Aluminium bodywork, chassis plate, and registration plates to the 428. He continued to run the car as the prototype Allard until his death.
This is where ‘MGT850’ and Allard chassis plates were returned to the original Allard chassis.
The AC 428 chassis ‘EF509’ was ordered through marque dealers ‘DB Cars, 283 Deansgate Manchester, England.’
It was the last of the EF/EFX chassis prefix cars. EF was the prefix for orders made by the Electric Fuel Propulsion Inc., Based out of Ferndale, Michigan. EFX 501 through to 508 were all sent to the United States in 1969, as left hand drive rolling chassis without engine mounts, destined for electric battery vehicles, the project unfortunately didn’t venture past this stage.
Unlike the previous eight chassis, EF509 remained in the UK and was built in right hand drive and fitted with a Ford 428 engine and four speed manual transmission. It left the AC Cars Factory on the 24th October 1970.As previously mentioned shortly after that the motorcar was clothed with the Prototype Allard J2X coachwork and it has remained as such until today.
‘EF509’ remained well known in the Allard community as it was lent in the mid 2000's to Ian Pitney so a faithful copy of the coachwork could be created for the Allard chassis car.
We discovered the motorcar in Hertfordshire last year, being in single ownership for the last thirty years.
We have carried out a full rewire as a safety precaution, alongside a light recommissioning.
Following that the motorcar was correctly registered as an AC with DVLA.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire a period Thames Ditton motorcar as the donor of a 427 Cobra project.
The much-preferred alternative would be to use the motorcar as it was built, as it's fascinating to have the genesis of the Texans racing story in the Allard alongside the concluding Shelby Cobra product in the 427 Cobra chassis design and 7 Litre Ford V8’.

- Mille Miglia Eligible

- Full Body/ Chassis/ Suspension/ Engine Restoration by AC heritage
We are delighted to bring this AC Ace to market.
This particular Ac-engined Ace chassis 'AE203' left the Thames Ditton factory on the 25th May 1957, supplied through AC distributor J. Davey Ltd of Kensington to its first owner Mr Michael Rowley. Originally specified in white bodywork with a Red leather interior with a matching hood and tonneau cover. Our original factory register notes that the 1991cc engine supplied was numbered 'CL2305W'
As an early Ace, it retains the pure lines of a long boot body style, flat windscreen and drum brakes all around. This is a unique opportunity to acquire an Ace that you can finish to your own specification, at a fraction of the cost of the work thus far.
'AE203' has been subject to an AC Heritage restoration. After stripping down the ace, we media blasted the chassis and body frame and etched primed. We carried out a full chassis restoration on our AC Cars factory jig system. Checking wishbone pickups and various lightweight tubes were replaced to factory drawing specifications. The original main frame chassis tubes and spring tower/ differential carrier were checked for correct positioning. A worthy note is that all original chassis and body panel numbers are present and correct.
After this process, we hand-crafted a aluminium body from the original Thames Ditton factory body bucks using the traditional technique of using 1/16 strips of parent metal to join the sections together as AC Cars did in period. The restored chassis was then painted in a 2K low bake finish followed by fitment of the bodywork to the chassis and panel frames. Furthermore, we retained original inner panels to ensure that under the bonnet looked period-correct.
The original 1991cc 'CL2305 W' AC engine was rebuilt to high specification with new pistons, rods and machining with improved rear main oil seal conversion. The cylinder head was rebuilt with unleaded valves can be seen running on our engine test bed.
The original suspension was fully rebuilt with new kingpins, wishbones, wheel bearings, seals and hardware. The braking system has been fully rebuilt with new wheel cylinders, master cylinders, brake shoes, Kunifer brake lines and brake hoses.
The steering box has been upgraded and rebuilt. The rear differential and driveshafts are rebuilt. The radiator has been rebuilt with a new core. A new wiring loom is supplied with various gauges for reconditioning. The seat frames and runners have been restored and are awaiting trimming. The windscreen has had new laminated glass fitted to an original frame, there is weather gear and side screens supplied.
Original fitment 16-inch wheels have been re-powder coated and sport Blockleys, but these could be replaced with Michelin X’s or Avons. There is a new rear stainless exhaust system and original headers supplied. The lighting has been replaced with new period correct P700 tripod headlamps with new buckets and rims. Brightwork included is rechromed roundel badges and bumper over riders. Replacement ‘silent travel’ door strikers and catches have been fitted. Brand new period correct ‘ace’ raised letter plates are supplied. An original fuel tank is supplied with the correct period filler cap. A rare period cooling fan is included and fitted to the spring tower and runs from an auxiliary pulley on the engine.
The Ace is now a rolling project with internal panels fitted but floors can be removed for mechanical assembly to assist in fitting the wiring loom. The remaining works required include retrim and repaint, refit of engine and gearbox and all electrical works including fitment of the wiring loom.
A worthy Mille Miglia eligible Ace, that could be finished to your desired specification within months not years.

It would remain in his ownership until 2019 then imported to the UK by its third owner. We received the Ace at our AC Heritage Works in 2020. The main objective of the owner was to retain the originality that Mr Lynch had kept nearing 60 years of ownership, including the factory original interior and racing livery that had been on the car since 1960. Our restoration process commenced including chassis, engine, steering, braking and electrical works costing over £30,000.
At this time many upgrades were fitted such as a dual circuit brake system, uprated competition rear hubs, uprated radiator, foam filled fuel tank, new brake calipers, lightweight battery, kenlowe fan, oil cooler, front anti-roll bar, removable roll bar, alongside new MWS wheels and Avon tyres.
A full breakdown of the extensive works can be provided to interested parties.
More recently the Ace was serviced in November 2023 and supplied a new MOT certificate.
This highly eligible Ace holds current FIA papers until 2031 making it a perfect candidate for the Goodwood events. Alongside current FIVA papers for the world-famous road race the Mille Miglia. BEX 374 was accepted as a reserve car for the 2022 and 2023 event and has applied for the 2024 edition, holding its Registro 1000 Miglia eligibility card until 2028.
An extensive history file featuring the ownership chain, mechanical revision notes of Mr Lynch, period photos, and the most recent restoration documents are included in the sale. The spares included are the original weather gear, multiple tonneau covers, removable roll bar, and racing aero screen.

-Fully restored matching numbers example
-Factory prototype and press car used on 428 Brochures.
-Believed to be one of only six remaining 428 convertibles specified with a manual gearbox, of which eight were originally built.
Despite several successful seasons and victory in the 1965 FIA World Manufacturers GT Championship, the Shelby Cobra programme was effectively curtailed that year by Ford's decision to concentrate on its in-house GT40 project. Faced with dwindling sales and denied the Dearborn giant's backing, AC's Derek Hurlock began planning a new model line. Conscious that the Cobra MKIII - although an adrenaline pump par excellence - was somewhat lacking in usability, he conceived its successor as a far more sophisticated Gran Turismo. Named after the cubic inch displacement of its 7014cc hydraulic-lifter Ford V8 engine (also confusingly fitted to late street Cobras), the 428 was built on a six-inch stretched version of its illustrious forebear's chassis. Benefiting from the all-around independent coil-and-wishbone suspension, rack and pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and a Salisbury differential, this race honed set-up was deemed necessary to harness the powerplant's quoted 345bhp output. Charged with clothing the resultant high-speed projectile, Turin coachbuilder Frua previewed a wonderfully elegant convertible at the 1965 Earl's Court Motor Show and 1966 Geneva Salon respectively. Finally entering hand-built production in 1968, the 428 was fearsomely expensive.
Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds and over 145mph even when fitted with a standard three-speed automatic transmission, its list price was over £1,000 more than an Aston Martin DB6.
Chassis number CF3 was built by AC Cars Ltd and first registered on 1st March 1967 with registration number PPL428E.
It was noted in AC’s workshop ledger as a prototype and used extensively over the next 4 years by the renowned company owner Derek Hurlock. At this time it was used by AC’s then Sales and Service manager
K.R.Judd.
There is correspondence on file between Judd and the previous owner mentioning it was the first convertible with a steel body, of which the rest of the production cars followed suit.
Furthermore, Judd mentioned that the car was air freighted to France at one point during its time with AC to feature in a BP promotional film. It featured extensively in company promotion brochures and advertising material.
This right-hand drive car was sold by a relative of Derek Hurlock and passed through various owners, eventually being exported to the USA in 1985, by notable AC restorer and collector Jim Feldman. Correspondence and the sales adverts of this transaction are on file alongside the import documents. A major restoration was carried out by Vantage Motors of Stanford Connecticut, resulting in 3 Concours wins in 2006, 2010, and 2015 (Greenwich Connecticut).
This no-expense-spared restoration was instigated by Mr R. Philips who bought the car in 2002 and kept it for 18 years until it was repatriated to the UK in 2020 and was provided its original registration number by the DVLA.
The 428 has been serviced in the last 12 months alongside a new clutch, uprated water pump, and replacement brake master cylinder and servos.
We are delighted to offer this 428 Frua with its first-class history and is one of the finest driving examples we have had through our doors.

Up until the launch of the MGA at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1955, post-War MG’s were an evolution of the pre-War model line up, culminating with the MG TF 1500. The beautiful design of the MGA body dates back to 1951 when George Philips designed a streamlined body to be fitted to a TD to race at Le Mans, and was a giant leap forward from the older styling of the ‘T’ models. The design used in that exercise is almost the same as that which was used on the production version of the MGA.
Initially, the power came from the 1489cc BMC ‘B’ Series engine with twin SU carbs and 68bhp, which was soon uprated to 72bhp. In 1958 the MGA 1600 was launched – a high-performance twin cam version with a high compression ratio aluminium head, capacity of 1588cc producing 108bhp and fitted with Dunlop disc brakes all round. Reliability issues plagued the Twin Cam and sales quickly dwindled. A lower compression engine was launched, but it was too late, and Twin Cam production ended after just 2 years with just 2,111 examples produced.
In May 1959, the standard cars also received an updated engine, now at 1588 cc, producing 79.5 bhp. At the front, disc brakes were fitted, but drums remained in the rear.
Externally, the car is very similar to the 1500 with differences including amber or white (depending on market) front turn indicators shared with white parking lamps, separate stop/tail and turn lamps in the rear, and 1600 badging on the boot and the cowl.
This motorcar, in particular, was despatched from the Abingdon factory on the 22nd of July 1959. It remains in its original specification of Chariot Red bodywork over Black trim. It featured disc wheels and competition seats and was registered YDU 55.
It was supplied new through Parkside Garage,Coventry to the original owner, Frank ‘Cliff’ Ward, to compete as a privateer in the 1960 Monte Carlo Rally. And that’s exactly what he did.Starting at The Hague in Belgium and powering through to the Principality of Monaco, finishing in 130th place.
A fantastic result for a private entry of the Monte, it would seem that this glorious history would be forgotten and remain in road guise for many years.
Moving into this century, between 2010-2014 the MG received a bare chassis/body restoration and a full engine rebuild alongside mechanicals and the interior.
After being with a few short-term owners, in 2021, a recent custodian decided to bring the MGA up to the deserved standard.
£20,000 pounds had been spent with Valoroso Race and Restoration Services to recommission it to the motorcar you see today that drives splendidly and is now registered with the FIVA, giving it eligibility for all the top motoring events.
A lovely history file containing a green buff log, the BMIHT certificate, Period photos/stills, and the recent restoration is on file.

One of the most illustrious of Italian coachbuilders, Carrozzeria Vignale of Turin had been founded in 1948 by Alfredo Vignale, whose career had begun pre-war with a successful design on the FIAT Topolino chassis. Enzo Ferrari's favoured coachbuilder during Maranello's formative years, Carrozzeria Vignale also designed and built cars for Lancia and Maserati among others, and in the 1960s branched out into automobile manufacture in its own right. By this time Vignale was turning out some 1,000 bodies a year, necessitating its relocation to larger premises at Grugliasco, not far from FIAT's factory at Mirafiori, Turin. Styling maestro Giovanni Michelotti was responsible for many of Vignale's designs of this period.
FIAT chassis were used as the basis for many of Vignale's more popular models, including this 750 Coupé, which is based on the FIAT 600 D. Introduced in 1955 and historically significant as the first rear-engined FIAT, the 600 was a masterpiece of automotive packaging, cramming accommodation for four into the same 2,000mm wheelbase as the outgoing two-seater Topolino. The integral chassis/body featured independent suspension all round, while the 633cc water-cooled four-cylinder overhead-valve engine produced 22bhp, good enough for a top speed of 100km/h. The most significant upgrade to this outstandingly successful design occurred in 1960 with the introduction of the 600 D, which featured a 767cc engine, improved lubrication and cooling systems, side window vents, key ignition, altered gearing, and greatly improved performance, the top speed increasing to 110km/h.
This 1962 750 Vignale is believed to be the only example registered in the UK.
The car was purchased in Italy in very good survivor condition, showing only signs of sun damage from its life in the Italian countryside.
The bare metal restoration was entrusted to marque experts Berni Motori in Lodi, Italy. The Vignale was stripped to bare metal, and the metalwork was in superb condition with no previous signs of accident damage.
Retaining originality was imperative with this Vignale, as all of the original fittings and bumpers were re-chromed, and the interior was retained aside from the driver's seat squab.
Improving the practicality of classics is important for many owners, and ensuring it is in keeping with the time period is of similar importance. This is seen within the engine bay as a new Autobianchi A112 Abarth 1050cc engine, paired with a webber 32/34 was fitted doubling the bhp output. The original low mileage fiat 767cc engine is included in the sale.

An MG with its origins in the 'frog-eyed' Austin-Healey Sprite, the Midget first appeared in July 1961, one month after the launch of its restyled progenitor, sharing the same bodyshell and mechanical underpinnings with only badges, trim details and price-differentiating the two. A series of engine enlargements saw the Midget arrive at 1,275cc in the form of the Mark III - code 'GAN4'. Introduced in 1966, the latter employed a de-tuned (to 65bhp) version of the 1,275cc Cooper S engine while offering significantly enhanced practicality courtesy of a new convertible hood. Testing a Mark III Midget, Autocar declared: "... it remains an excellent little car which certainly achieves its primary object – that of being fun to drive".
This Motorcar, in particular, was manufactured at the end of June 1967 and dispatched on the 7th July 1967 to Caffyns Limited. It retains its factory specification of Basilica Blue with Black Trim and Top.
It was professionally rebuilt by specialists MG Centre in 1997; a comprehensive restoration file with photographs and invoices shows this was a complete bare shell rebuild to the highest standards, resulting in a finish that has lasted the test of time and presents very well.

The 2.6 Ford engined variant of the Ace was introduced nearing the end of the production run only spanning two years from 1961-1963. As the Bristol engine supplies were thinning out, Ken Rudd proposed the use of the 2.6 zephyr power unit, allowing a lower bonnet line changing the styling of the front end, which has now become synonymous with that of the Cobra.
This motorcar in particular RS5022 was ordered by R. L Smith through Ken Rudd’s outfit K.N Rudd LTD of Worthing and was delivered on the 20th April 1962 in the form of bright blue metalline with red leather interior.
We are very familiar with this car as it was the AC owners club 2.6 Ace registrar’s since 2000, It was used under his ownership as a competition car in races such as..

Under his ownership, we carried out a bodywork restoration in the late 2000s and can report the car retains the matching numbers engine and chassis, alongside all the correct stampings on the bonnet boot and doors. After over two decades of ownership we brokered the sale for this unique motorcar and recommissioned it for the new owner, running through the fuel and braking system including foam filled aluminium fuel tank, new brake callipers and finally a full set of new period correct wheels with fresh 16 x 185 Avon tyres.
Under the bonnet is an impressive sight of the ‘stage 5’ tuned 2.6 Ford engine with the aluminium Raymond Mays head of ERA fame, and period correct Italian weber carburettors.
In the cabin is the plethora of smiths gauges alongside the wood rim Motolita steering wheel and a Delanair heater is also fitted.
In regards to competition fittings, there is a removable roll bar, 4-point lap harness for both driver and passenger, battery cut off switch and a handheld fire extinguisher.
In the boot, there is a new 16-inch spare wheel with Avon tyre, full weather gear, tonneau, jack and copper hide hammer.

Of the 463 Ace Bristol’s produced at the Thames Ditton Works, only 100 came in right hand driveconfiguration. The Motorcar offered is BE 294, it is one of sixteen right hand drive Ace Bristols that were exported. BE294 left the Thames Ditton works on the 18th of April 1957 and had been shipped to Far East Motors, Hong Kong.
The first custodian of this motorcar Ron Hardwick, a Cathay Pacific pilot, said he fell into racing almost by accident. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hardwick, the son of a British Army captain, said he had raced motorcycles around the then undeveloped new territories.
After buying a Triumph TR2 to drive around Europe on holiday, the service manager for Far East Motors Eddie Carvalho, winner of the initial 1954 Grand Prix, entered his car in the race without telling him.
'Eddie was a crazy guy and it was just like him to do that and at the time they were scraping to get as many people down to Macau as possible. I had been racing in a few hill climbs with the Hong Kong Motor Sport Club and done alright so I thought why not’. After finishing out of the running in the '55 race with a blown engine and missing the 1956 GP due to work commitments.
Hardwick returned to the Guia Circuit in 1957 , in his recently acquired AC Ace Bristol (BE294), he achieved his best lap time of 3m and 45.7s, the third fastest lap on the grid 11 seconds behind the leading Mercedes 300SL of Pateman. He completed the 77 laps of Guia in a swift 4 hours 58 minutes and 15 seconds, under four minutes behind the winning Mercedes 300SL. Hardwick also achieved a 1st in the ACP trophy the day before the GP.
Hardwick returned the following year for the fifth Macau grand prix, battling it out for second place with the XK140 of Tom Reynolds. Hardwick managed to lap Barnes in the Porsche 1600 on the 48th lap, Barnes would go on to place 3rd, Hardwick comfortably claimed 2nd and Chan Lye-Choon placed 1st.

One of the highest specification X350 models on the market in Platinum Metallic Silver with contrasting Sand Hide Interior with all the usual Jaguar refinements.
This particular example is unmarked and in exceptional condition throughout. Two decades on and it shows near showroom quality. The Triumph Herald is a small car that was produced by the British car manufacturer Standard-Triumph from 1959 to 1971. Designed by the Italian stylist Giovanni Michelotti, the Herald was known for its stylish looks, innovative design, and ease of maintenance. It featured a separate chassis and body design, which made it easier to repair and maintain. The initial models were powered by a 948cc inline-four engine, but over time, larger engines were introduced, including 1147cc and 1296cc variants. Over half a million units were produced during its production run, with assembly taking place in India, Australia, South Africa, as well as the UK.
We are delighted to offer this 1965 Triumph Herald 12/50 in olive green with cream interior. Being a 12/50 model it benefitted from a tuned 51 bhp engine, front disc brakes and a sliding Weathershield vinyl sunroof as standard. First registered in February 1965, the car was supplied by Brunt & Davies Ltd. The original service book is present and indicates 8 services, the last recorded in 2017 at 48,264 miles. The odometer is currently on just over 50,000 miles and whilst we can never warrant mileage, the service book does indicate that this figure may be correct. There are some parts and maintenance invoices to supplement the service history, the most recent being a new battery and servicing of the dynamo earlier this year. The car appears to benefit from a stainless steel exhaust system which should last the lifetime of the car.
The olive green / cream colour combination is very fetching and suits the car down to the ground. The chromework presents nicely with a little patina here and there. The folding roof is a lovely touch, giving fresh air motoring with minimal effort, and looks very fresh. The interior is quite charming, having been treated to a polished wood steering wheel and gear knob, and a stainless steel radio console upgrade housing a Smiths clock and voltmeter. The radio itself appears to be a modern item designed to look old and meld seamlessly into the classic dashboard. There is an invoice indicating replacement front seats and seatbelts in 2018. Under the bonnet, the engine bay looks very clean with the cam cover and air filter looking freshly painted.
The car comes with V5C, an old MOT certificate, a bundle of invoices for parts and maintenance, old tax discs, original service book, a workshop manual and a couple of handbooks.
Some classics are popular because they’re just easy to live with and the Herald is one of those cars. Diminutive size, great parts supply and vibrant club scene all contribute to making these cars a staple of the British classic scene. Whether you are a seasoned classic enthusiast or just dipping your toe in, the Herald represents a lot of classic fun for not a lot of money.

The 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core.
This is a delightful example of a 2001 Carrera 4 in Seal Grey Metallic, paired with full black leather trim and Alcantara headlining. The dashboard is unmarked within the cabin, carbon fibre accents can be seen on the steering wheel, shifter and handbrake lever. The paintwork is in lovely condition considering the mileage, with no stone chips on the bonnet,it must be noted the windscreen has had resin repair from a stone chip. It's a lovely example that has been fastidiously maintained by the most recent custodian, who spent over £5000 on mechanical work in his short few years of ownership.
These works include.
-new brake discs and pads
- uprated waterpump and thermostat with replacement drive belts
-new indicator switch
-new alternator
- brake calipers serviced
-new tyres
-general servicing
-replace two rear brake pipes
-cv boot kit replacment and steering rack gaiter kit
-wheel alignment
-new header tank
Previous owners carried out many notable works that are desired for this era of 911 including IMS bearing replacement with ceramic type bearing at 120,000 miles alongside the RMS. A large folder of works are supplied with the car alongside the appropriate handbooks, service record and two keys.
This is a very affordable way into classic Porsche ownership that has comprehensive service history.

We previously handled the sale of this motorcar in 2022, a delightful example of a 2001 Carrera 4 in Schwarz metallic, paired with full black leather trim and Alcantara headlining. Most notably, it is in the highly desirable manual gearbox format. It has recently benefitted from a full respray. The wheels have been refurbished and diamond cut to fuchs styling and are paired with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s. The dashboard is unmarked within the cabin, with very tidy leather seats and door cards.
Since we last handled this in early 996, it has been fastidiously maintained by the most recent custodian, who has spent over £7,500 on mechanical works with marque specialists to ensure it's up to standard.
We are also told that £5000 was spent with Prestige & Performance Car Services to restore the paintwork to its stunning condition.
The car was recently fitted with a Pioneer SPH-20DAB head unit with a slide-away phone cradle, hands-free capability and uprated front speakers.
The private 911 number plate is also included in the sale
Prior to his ownership, it was under the care of a good customer of ours whom we've known for many years; he set the trend on a no-expense-spared pursuit to keep this car to Stuttgart standard. He entrusted marque specialist Sports and Classic to carry out the works, costing over 20,000 pounds over his seven years of ownership from 2015-2022. We have listed the maintenance of the last two owners below.

It is fair to say that at any one time, there will always be a number of Rover P6 V8’s on the open market for you to choose from. But if you have been looking for something rather special, an example that is a cut above the rest, then your search should be over as KTC 890K has been the culmination of one man’s quest to develop one of the best P6’s he could find into a reliable, economical and exciting daily driver. To achieve this (which he has) well over £20, 000 has been invested in the project.
A few years ago, the owner of KTC 890K, as an airline pilot and passionate classic car enthusiast wished to combine both his interests by traveling to the airport in a classic car. The chosen vehicle would have to be reliable, comfortable, and economical. Now, you may be thinking that a Rover V8 is perhaps not the most economical option out there, but part of the plan was not only to fully rebuild the engine to 3. 9 litre spec but to install an LPG (liquid petroleum gas) system.
So, after a lengthy search of the market the chosen vehicle was found, the one we see today. A vehicle that at the time was just a 2 owner example that had covered a little over 50, 000 miles. It was first registered for the road on the 1st January 1972 and left the factory as a P6b 3500, finished in Almond with an Ebony interior. Price when new being £2176. 88 including tax. Factory fitted extras included, power steering, a radio, heated rear screen and seat belts. Dealer-fitted extras included a Britax sunroof, Lucas square 8 fog lamps, door mirrors, and mud flaps. Rather nicely the history file contains all the original Rover P6 sales brochures.
Despite this low mileage like many P6s, KTC 890K had already been the subject of a major rebuild in 1994 by specialists Rovers Return. It is now over 25 years since this work was completed and the lovely, overall condition we find KTC 890K in today is great testimony to the quality of this work. In fact, such was the standard that some years later in 2011 KTC 890K entered The Rover P6 Clubs car rally and came 3rd in class.
Rather interestingly in 2012 KTC 890K became a “star” by being used in the film, Northern Soul, starring Steve Coogan and Lisa Stansfield. A film exploring this music scene that started in the North West of England during the 1970s. Some pictures of the car on set are contained in the history file.
Before going through the more recent improvements and developments made to KTC 890K it is important to know that all the work was carried out by experienced professionals and the history file contains the invoices to back this up.
The engine was given to respected Rover V8 specialists RPI Engineering who fully rebuilt the engine to 3. 9 litres specification using stage 1 heads. The bores were machined to +20 and new pistons were fitted. The big ends and main bearings +10 and then fitted with ARP stud kit and ARP big end bolts. The new camshaft fitted is a Piper 270. New rocker shafts were fitted as well as a hi-volume oil pump kit. A new Weber 1404 complete kit was fitted with K&N filter along with an LPG Mixer and shroud. There are invoices from RPI for over £5, 500 to complete this work.
The LPG installation was carried out by Gas & Go Ltd at a cost of approaching £2000. It is a very neat system and due to the large size of the P6’s boot still leaves you with plenty of storage. The switch over from petrol to gas is a very simple button system fitted to the centre console. From a physical driving experience, there is no noticeable difference in performance using either fuel.
KTC 890K has also been inspected and registered with the UKLPG vehicle register.
For better performance and reliability, a fully programmable electronic ignition system has been installed along with a sports coil and lead set.
The exhaust is a complete big bore stainless steel system and along with the engine makes a beautiful sound.
Over and above the performance side of things a look through the more recent invoices shows that the owner has not been afraid to invest in other areas as well. The brakes have received attention, a new rear diff fitted, and new Spax shock absorbers. On the cooling side, a new radiator was fitted along with a Kenlowe electronic fan.
The result of all this time and investment is a properly sorted Rover P6 that aside from the upgraded Rover SDI wheels it looks standard. However, as soon as you fire it up you realise that this is something special. The engine has quite clearly been built very well and the exhaust note is hard to describe to do it justice.
We have personally driven this sorted motorcar over 300 miles since coming into stock and has been on the button and a pleasure to drive.

-84,000 Miles
-Very nice condition throughout
- Recently completed a faultless 2000 mile trip to France.
The second generation model of the wildly successful Jeep Wrangler line was introduced in 1996, and referred to internally (and by enthusiasts) as the ‘TJ’ model Wrangler. Powered by a multitude of inline-four and inline-six engines and available in a number of body styles, trim levels and transmission setups, the Wrangler could tackle everything from daily driving duties to beach weekends, off-road adventures and even saw use in commercial rescue applications around the world.
Underneath, numerous improvements over the previous generation could be found, such as fully independent suspension in place of coil springs, an enlarged fuel tank, and other minor mechanical upgrades, which allowed the TJ to suit urban life as much as off-road trekking.
Finished in Silverstone Metallic (60th cars were available only in this colour or metallic black) the 60th Anniversary edition boasted numerous cosmetic and comfort, some post-production upgrades carried out by Jeep specialist Claridges Cars, including the following items:
-4.0-litre inline-six engine
-Body-colour wheel arches and rocker sills
-Full metal doors (as opposed to half-canvas items)
-3 inch Suspension Lift
-American Racing Alloy Wheels with Khumo KL71 Tyres.
-American Short Cut Bumpers with Built in DRL's and Rear Fog and Reverse Lights.
-Custom T304 Stainless Steel Exhaust System
-Recent Black Soft Top
-KC Daylighters Spotlights
-HID Headlight Conversion,
-Radio/CD Player with Bluetooth
-Overhead Sound Bar
-Billet Aluminum Gear Knob
-3 Rear Seat Belts.
It has recently covered 2000 miles by the most recent owner in France and was reported to run faultlessly.
Unlike many jeeps of this era, its bodywork is lovely throughout, with only a few minor blemishes for the 23-year-old bodywork; the underneath is very solid and must be seen to be appreciated.
The history file is significant and is supplied with two keys.

Up until the launch of the MGA at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1955, post-War MG’s were an evolution of the pre-War model line up, culminating with the MG TF 1500. The beautiful design of the MGA body dates back to 1951 when George Philips designed a streamlined body to be fitted to a TD to race at Le Mans, and was a huge leap forward from the older styling of the ‘T’ models. The design used in that exercise is almost the same as that which was used on the production version of the MGA.
Initially, power came from the 1489cc BMC ‘B’ Series engine with twin SU carbs and 68bhp which was soon uprated to 72bhp. A lower compression engine was launched but it was too late and Twin Cam production was ended after just 2 years with just 2,111 examples produced.
In May 1959 the standard MGA 1600 engine was updated to 1588cc, now producing 79.5bhp. Disc brakes were fitted at the front but drums remained at the rear. Some examples were fitted with leftover four wheel discs and special wheels from Twin Cam production and sold as De Luxe versions, although they are very rare with just 82 Coupés and Roadsters built.
1961 saw the introduction of the final iteration of the MGA 1600, the Mark II. Capacity increased slighty to 1622cc and the cylinder head was redesigned with larger valves and re-engineered combustion chambers, increasing horsepower to 90bhp. A higher ratio back axle was fitted to enable more comfortable high speed touring. MGA production ended in 1962 with the introduction of the MGB and by this time just 8,198 Mark II Roadsters and 521 Coupés had been built.
This motorcar in particular was completed on the 30th October 1961 and dispatched the following day for export to California. Where it remained changing ownership three times and the current owner purchased the car from a sports car dealer in Marina Del Ray in December 1992.
The car was imported into the UK in November 1993. After import it it was subject to a 2 1/2 year ground up restoration. We carried out the chassis/bodywork restoration on our Carbench System. It was then returned to its original specification of black bodywork with red trim and a grey hood.
At this time an original works aluminium hardtop was fitted to the car with side screens. A fully photographed and documented restoration file is included.
This particular MGA was specified with the following options. Adjustable steering column, Fresh air heater and demister, Windscreen washer, Anti-roll bar.
A worthy note is that the car is fitted with a wonderful 5-speed gearbox conversion, the original gearbox is included in the sale. A substantial spares package including a painted boot lid with luggage rack and a complete factory toolkit.
This MKII is also the cover feature of ‘The MG Story’ by Malcolm Green.
Since restoration the car has been fastidiously maintained and we can certainly say this is one of the finest MGAs on the market currently.

First purchased in Germany by a US serviceman, shipped to the US. The second owner from Columbus, Ohio bought it in 1972 when he was 15 years old and kept it for the next 50 years before being bought and shipped to the UK. It was only taken off the road to have a new clutch, his mechanic convinced him the engine and trans needed to be removed and freshened up at the same time. Life got in the way and the car was moved around and kept in storage for over 10 years, as you can see a few parts have been misplaced or lost over the years…It originally left the factory in red, with a black interior, a steering column lock and overdrive.
The BMIHT Certificate says is was built and dispatched in Aug 64, shipped from Kings Lynn on the vessel Gaasterland to the dealer Walter Hagen & Company, Krefeld in Germany.
Factory options were: rear seat, overdrive, sunvisors, Michelin X tyres, MPH speedometer, wire wheels and hexagonal wheel nut, steering lock.
Car is now stored at our facility in Weybridge, Surrey

Designed by Ian Callum, the Aston Martin DB7 was available as a coupé or convertible, and with a manual or an automatic gearbox. Initially offered with either a straight-six, later expanded to include the glorious six-litre V12 engine. The DB7’s chassis can trace its roots directly to that of the Jaguar XJS. You’ll be pleased to hear though, that the underpinnings were so thoroughly re-engineered by Tom Walkinshaw racing (TWR) as to make them completely different cars. Built in the same factory that used to build the Jaguar XJ220, the DB7 is the only modern Aston Martin to utilise a steel monocoque body.
This is a 1995 Aston Martin DB7 Coupe RHD finished in grey with a black interior.
This car has had 5 former keepers and passed a MoT on 23rd November 2022. The history file contains the majority of MoT certificates going back to 1995 and a selection of invoices regarding parts, maintenance and improvements made to the car over the years. These include documents from Stratstone Aston Martin, Chiltern Aston Centre, HWM etc.
The original user manual contains the service history which has 18 stamps from main dealers and specialists running from 1995 until 2013 beyond then the car was maintained by the owner. In 2005 the car had an additional LPG system fitted. It has very recently had new brake discs and pads, alongside wheel restoration and restoration works to the sills.
This DB7 offers an affordable route into Aston Martin ownership and relatively affordable running costs. Combined with what many regard as one of the most significant designs of the 1990s the '7' continues to serve up great value, as this early manual example shows.

To the casual observer, the 1963 DB5 is virtually indistinguishable from a late model DB4 Vantage; the DB5 is essentially a four litre version of the DB4. Initially fitted with the four-speed David Brown gearbox, the vast majority of cars received the superior five speed gearbox either as an option or later as standard fitting. So why is the DB5 so often thought of as the quintessential Aston Martin?
Without doubt, this is due to a Silver Birch example featuring in the 1964 James Bond film, Goldfinger, complete with modifications and hidden weaponry. With 007 behind the wheel of the sensational sports GT, demand outstripped supply - the factory just couldn't capitalise fast enough on the marketing success of the DB5. Even today, DB5's are highly regarded and change hands for sums significantly greater than almost anything else in the range. Its production, however, was fairly short-lived, ending in September 1965 after 1,021 had been manufactured.
Being neither a barn find or a restored example this car has been owned by the current owner since 2001, having purchased the car from Ian Mason, the renowned Aston Martin specialist previously based in North Kensington, London. Ian had competed with the car for many years with some success throughout the 70's and 80's before work commitments took over and the car was laid up. Naturally time took its toll and the car was sold to the third owner, in need of restoration; during the ensuing years the car was partly restored and is now offered in a condition ready to be finished, complete with all major components. Both mechanical and suspension parts are complete in varying degrees of condition with the rolling chassis and body prepared in an aluminium state to a very high standard, as seen in the photographs. The prospective buyer has a unique opportunity to complete the restoration process and return the car to the road to their exact preference and specification.
Supplied with a period correct engine and gearbox, this example is offered with a history file full of the original race history detailing results and entries, together with the UK V5 certificate, photos and newspaper cuttings. This is the perfect starting point for a DB5 restoration with provenance and quality at the forefront of the project.

In the 1970s, the AC factory at Thames Ditton stopped service and repair of older Cobras. Brian Angliss’ Cobra Parts operation quickly picked up that business and built up a strong and influential customer base. He also moved closer to the factory operation over the years, eventually collecting enough original tooling, jigs, and body bucks from Thames Ditton to fabricate new aluminium bodies, and utilising the same tooling and jigs used to create the original Ace and Cobra bodies. For Angliss’ new Cobra, the bodies were similar to the wide bodies built for the 427, but they used highly tuned 302 V-8s. Although they used the same four-inch tubular steel frame, the cockpit was extended to allow more room for slightly taller individuals.
The quality of Angliss’ work was so well-respected by owners and others in the AC community that in the mid-eighties he was allowed to purchase the rights to the AC name from the Hurlock family, who had been strongly protective of the venerated name that they controlled since the 1930s.
A new AC company was established as a joint venture with Ford, who had also recently bought Aston Martin. Angliss’ company then which began offering the AC MkIV. Given his legal right to use the AC name and, more importantly, the unbroken lineage of craftsmen, tools, and materials employed in their production, these cars were lauded for their high levels of build quality and their retention of the original’s spirit and are generally considered “continuation” cars. Autokraft shortly thereafter moved to a purpose-built factory in Brooklands; in total, approximately 400 MkIV Cobras were built.
This motorcar in particular ‘AK1027’ was manufactured in September 1984. It was specified in left hand drive with Red bodywork and Black trim, at the request of the first owner Ford Europe Director W. Camplisson. It was then sold in January 1986 to D. Womack, after two years of ownership the car was marketed with Cobra Dealer Rod Leach, then purchased by John Bendall who prepared the car for the Aston Martin Owners Club Intermarque Championship in 1990 in Class A. It would be in the following years that John saw success Overall Championship Winner in 1991. Runner up in 1992 and Class A winner for both years. John would keep racing the Cobra throughout the nineties. It was then sold to the most recent custodian in 2001, who has used the car sparingly over his two decades of ownership. Regularly maintained and most recently serviced in February 2022. We carried out some recommissioning works less than 2000 miles ago including a new uprated aluminium radiator, water pump, tyres and windscreen.
The ex racer retains many of the period modifications that were fitted by Mr Bendall, including custom Harvey Bailey anti roll bars, removable roll hoop, 4 point harness, battery cut out, fire system. The weather gear is all present including tonneau, hood and side screens alongside spare wheels. This vehicle will be supplied with a fresh MOT.
As an early MKIV Cobra it lends itself to export to European markets as registration on the later cars can be troublesome on the continent.

Based on a concept drawn by Raymond Loewy, the Austin A30, and latterly the A35, was the brand's entry-level model for post-war Britain, but its ability goes way deeper than its charming styling. As Austin's rival to the Morris Minor, the car utilised a more modern and stiffer monocoque construction. It has since forged a formidable reputation in historic classic saloon racing as a ‘giant killer’ and it's well documented that both Graham Hill and James Hunt were very fond of its abilities as indeed were more recent Goodwood Revival stars, Rae Davis and Martin Brundle in their favourite race, the St. Mary's Trophy.
This particular example was first registered on the 30th of November 1954, retaining a period registration ODF656. The shell is solid and could be very useful as a historic racer donor. However, we prefer it in its current roadgoing form. The previous keeper spent over £4000 on upkeep with Forest Motors Ltd since August 2021.
The works carried out are as follows…
20th August 2021- Carry out vehicle inspection and report, check all breaks for operation and bleed. convert car to negative earth. supply and fit flashing indicators front and rear, supply and fit hazard warning light switch. Supply and fit 5 radial tyres. Supply and fit new exhaust system. Supply and fit electronic distributor, new coil leads and spark plugs. top up all levels including gearbox and rear axle.
22nd November 2021- Convert windscreen washers from manual pump to electric pump, repair and refit speedometer, replace front and rear carpets set, carry out underbody protection,
05th May 2022- Replace head gasket and set up engine, replace fault dynamo replace both sides door aperture seals.
The interior is presentable for a car of this age with seats showing a nice patina and signs of wear, the recently replaced carpets look wonderful as expected.

When it was introduced, the MG Midget was essentially a MkII Austin-Healey Sprite dressed in a slightly different suit. By reviving the 'Midget' name, BMC paid homage to MG’s pre-war legacy of small, nimble sports cars. The early models were powered by a 948cc A-Series engine with twin SU carburettors, but by the time the MkIII debuted in 1966, the engine had evolved—first to 1,098cc and then to 1,275cc, offering improved performance.
Between 1961 and 1979, a total of 226,001 Midgets were produced, with 100,246 of them being MkIII models, making this version one of the most sought-after.
Presented in striking orange coachwork with black trim. While it is evident that the car has undergone restoration at some stage, there is no significant documentation to support this.
Recent Maintenance (Within the Last 800 Miles):
• New rear tyres
• Borg & Beck clutch kit (cover, plate, and release bearing)
• Clutch master and slave cylinders
• Oil and fluid change, including new filters
• Replacement rear wheel cylinders
• New electric fuel pump
• Front shock absorbers
• Carburettor adjustment and timing reset
• New spark plugs

Benefiting from all-round independent coil-and-wishbone suspension, rack and pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes and a Salisbury limited slip differential, this race honed set-up was deemed necessary to harness the powerplant's quoted 345bhp output. Charged with clothing the resultant high-speed projectile, Turin coachbuilder Frua previewed a wonderfully elegant convertible and strikingly rakish fastback at the 1965 Earl's Court Motor Show and 1966 Geneva Salon respectively. Finally entering hand-built production in 1968, the 428 was fearsomely expensive. Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds and over 145mph even when fitted with standard three-speed automatic transmission, its list price was over £1,000 more than an Aston Martin DB6.
This Motorcar in particular left the Thames Ditton factory on the 15th of December 1970, heading to the well established agent H.R Owen Ltd of Sloane Street. Then being registered for the first time on the 3rd of February 1971, It was then noted in the factory ledger that the car was with Hexagon Motors in November 1971. Originally sporting white bodywork and black interior.
In more recent history the car had the sills refurbished and resprayed in late 2007, shortly thereafter the most recent custodian acquired the 428, and immediately had a quicksilver stainless steel exhaust fitted. As part of his V8 collection, it has been dry stored and lightly used locally. It has just been through our pre sale AC heritage works service and recommissioning package.
The exterior bodywork is sharp with only a few small age-related marks, to the rear of the car. The brightwork is all original and slightly patinated aside from the bumpers that have been rechromed. In the cabin, the leather interior is in good condition throughout. Floor mats are tidy and our in house trimmers are attending to the carpet areas on the gearbox tunnel.
A tidy and practical classic that would be the perfect candidate for the upcoming motoring season.

-Fully comprehensive service record
Launched by AC Cars at the 1999 London Motor Show, a new chapter in the Cobra history was written with the Mk. IV Cobra Carbon Road Series (CRS). The CRS is based upon the chassis and power train of its aluminium bodied brother, the Superblower, that shares the lineage of the 4inch ladder chassis of the 427 MK3 of the sixties, but with a very modern twist of boasting an all carbon-fibre body that was the result of collaboration between AC and Kid Jensen Racing, the successful F3000 team.
‘ The CRS features a 5.0L V8 fuel injected engine. This develops 225 BHP@4200rpm which delivers a power-to-weight ratio of 211 bhp/ton. Performance is electrifying with 0-60 reached in well under 5.5 seconds. The Cobra uses the same 5 speed manual transmission as found in the Superblower, Hydratrak limited slip differential, independent front and rear suspension, rack and pinion steering and disc brakes all round (4-pot AP racing brakes and ventilated discs at the front) which makes the CRS, in all respects, a true cobra’.
This motorcar in particular, chassis number ‘CRS9510’ was invoiced to Hills of Woodford, Essex on the 20 of July 2000, shortly after it was registered on the 1st of September 2000 to its first keeper. It remains in the original specification of Rosso Corso with Twin Silver Stripes paired with Grey leather interior and a black tonneau cover. The original weather gear, side screens are present.
The dashboard upgrade was carried out in October 2007, the period style Autokraft gauges were fitted and mileage was zeroed, this is fully documented in this history file. The glovebox was later signed by Carroll Shelby and the Gentleman Jack Sears.
All factory fitted parts removed from the car will be included in the sale including the original 16 inch wheels, gauges and bumpers, steering wheel etc.
The CRS has a fully comprehensive service history within the four large history files, most recently serviced 600 miles ago. In addition, there is various promotional material from the AC factory, an original advertisement from Hills of Woodford and the original build sheet from AC Cars in 2000. It was also featured in the October 2009 issue of Octane Magazine.

-One of the Last Ten Aceca Bristols built.
-Single ownership for the last forty years.
-Full restoration ending in the 2000s
Introduced in 1954 at the Earls Court Motor Show, the AC Aceca fastback, the new model shared the ladder-framed chassis, and the majority of steering and running gear with the Ace roadster. A lightweight aluminium sports car initially powered by the AC Weller derived six-cylinder engine, in 1956 Bristol engines could be equipped and increase performance The refined interior of the coupe version added a dash of comfort to the minimally equipped Ace roadster.
This motorcar in particular ‘BE808’ was delivered to agent R. F Twnyham, Market Harborough on the 14th of September 1961. In the specification ‘Princess Blue with Red Leather’ and with engine ‘100D2 1116’
It was then delivered to the first owner Mrs E. P Spehs of Oxenden House. It passed through six owners smaller short term owners until it was purchased by Mr Peter Rampton of Hambledon in September 1982.
In Peter’s ownership ‘BE808’ was subject to a thorough no expense-spared restoration spanning over fifteen years and completed in the late 1990’s. After completion, the AC has been well cared for with continuous servicing and upgrades most recently including uprated competition rear hubs in 2016. Mr Rampton had a collection of AC motorcars and was determined to drive them, to maintain his collection he purchased a factory replacement from AC Cars. This engine ‘100D2 1145’ was later installed into the Aceca.
The Aceca drives phenomenally, with more than adequate engine power, it pushes to 100 mph comfortably, with direct steering and good stopping power meaning it's perfectly usable in modern traffic. It has recently passed through our AC heritage works service.

As the official AC specialists, we are delighted to present AE44 to the market for the first time in two decades. Whether you desire to participate in some of the most prestigious vintage motoring events or feathering the straight-six on country roads we are sure this Ace will exceed all expectations.
Chassis No: AE44
Engine No: UMB1219
Registration No: 923 CTF
Previous owners: 4 including current
Eligibility- Millie Miglia (pre 1957)
An influential and widely imitated design, the AC Ace (and its Cobra derivative) could trace its origins back to a one-off sports-racer built by chassis engineer John Tojeiro for Cliff Davis in 1952. The success of Davis' Tojeiro sports-racer prompted AC Cars to acquire the rights to the design, which was put into production in 1954 as the Ace.
The Davis car's pretty Ferrari 166-inspired Barchetta bodywork was retained, as was Tojeiro's twin-tube ladder frame chassis and Cooper-influenced all-independent suspension, but the power unit was AC's own venerable, 2.0-litre, long-stroke six.
Designed by AC co-founder John Weller, this overhead-camshaft engine had originated in 1919, and with a modest 80bhp (later 100bhp) on tap, endowed the Ace with respectable, if not outstanding, performance. Nevertheless, in tuned form the Ace enjoyed great success in production sports car racing, winning its class at the Le Mans 24-Hour Race in 1959.
In 1954 AC added a hardtop version - the fastback-styled Aceca - and both models later became available with the more powerful Bristol engine before production ceased in 1963. Towards the end of production, the Ace was also available with the 2.6-litre overhead-valve Ford Zephyr engine installed. Only 223 cars were delivered with the 2.0-litre AC engine compared with 463 Bristol-engined cars and a further 37 Ford-powered examples.
The motorcar offered is chassis number ‘AE44’ one of the earliest production cars. AE 44 was finished by the factory in green body colour and trimmed in beige leather fitted with the AC six-cylinder engine ‘UMB2102-H’. Ex Works on the 31st January 1955 brokered through Swanmore Garage, Bournemouth to its first custodian Mr F Richards of Poole, Dorset.
The next significant owner was MR H.E.M Russel of Danemoor, Malvern. He was the custodian of the car from 1975-1999, during this time it was solely used for gentle road use. Shortly after the car was marketed by The Car Centre in 1999, when passed to the most recent custodian where they embarked on the restoration of this motorcar to the highest standard, from the ground up with a body-off restoration
We were familiar with the owner as he approached us to attend to all the chassis work for the motorcar, including local repairs whilst retaining as much of the original framework as possible. The rest of the restoration was kept to the highest standard including a full rebuild of the current engine ‘UMB1219’ by Tyler Motorsports of Kingston, Hereford.
Coachwork, paintwork and the upholstery were undertaken by our AC Heritage Works, based here at Brooklands. The period livery consists of a black leather interior paired with the period AC racing green. A fitting colour for the Ace as in 2019 we celebrated the 60th anniversary since the AC works team won their class at Le Mans in 1959.

In the latter part of the 1950s AC Cars had successfully covered the two seater market with the Ace and Aceca. There had been requests for a four seater GT with the performance of the Aceca, and the recently retired two litre saloon was remarkably outdated for production up to 1958. AC’s answer was the Greyhound prototype shown at the 1959 Earls Court Motor Show, a lengthened Aceca chassis with bodywork styled by chief engineer Alan Turner. The production cars saw further development with the use of square section chassis and various bodywork alterations such as an upturned 2.6 Ace grille with a revised location of the spotlights.
The Greyhound was available in four engine configurations over the production run, the majority of the cars had the highly desirable 100D2 Bristol, which was used by AC Cars successfully winning its class at Le Mans in 1959 and 7th Overall with the Ace.
- One Owner from New
- In original factory specification ‘princess blue with blue leather’
- Matching numbers Bristol 100D2 engine
-One of Only 84 Greyhounds manufactured between 1959-1963
-Retains originally issued registration 120 SPJ
This motorcar in particular, chassis number ‘BEF2514’ was ordered by a personal friend of Derek Hurlock. A 26 year old Mr Peter J Rampton of Hambledon. In ‘Princess Blue with Dark Blue Leather trim and silver wheels, ordered through Ken Rudd’s outfit K.N RUDD LTD of Worthing.
Mr Rampton received his motorcar on the 30th December 1960 after part exchanging his first Aceca Bristol. Shortly thereafter Mr Rampton entrusted Ken Rudd to have a Laycock de Normanville overdrive fitted on the 14th of April 1961. The Rampton family owned a successful sales catalogue company called Freemans. Peter however found his passion in narrow gauge steam railways, recovering engines and collecting them for all to see. Peter was the driving factor in founding the Brecon Mountain Railway in Pant and later the Vale of Rheidol in Aberystwyth.
“The Breacon” as Peter called it, formed a favourite trip in his AC car, seeing just how quickly he could get there from Surrey and setting a record he was sure still stands”. Mr Rampton regularly used the Greyhound for this pilgrimage, covering many miles and throughout it has fully comprehensive service history from AC Cars Limited and the latter Autokraft, in more depth than we have seen from any other AC motorcar. Peter continued to use the vehicle and maintain it until his passing in 2019.
The AC Greyhound as it sits is stunning, survivor condition is unjust for this motorcar. The exterior remains in the original cellulose Princess Blue with all original chrome work, the bodywork remains in fine condition retaining the Aston Martin esque lines. Within the cabin, the original dark blue leather with the renowned sunburst door cards are in lovely condition. The seats have a nicely patina and as per expected very little wear on the rear bench seat. A plethora of Smiths gauges create a welcoming driving position with original switchgear backed by the original wooden dashboard, alongside the fully functional Motorola radio.
Under the bonnet the original Bristol Engine “100D2 1099” has recently had a full top-end overhaul including new head-gasket and carburettor rebuild, and full AC heritage works service. The Greyhound drives phenomenally, more than adequate engine power, it pushes to 100 mph comfortably, with direct steering and good stopping power meaning it's perfectly usable in modern traffic.
Our AC heritage works would be delighted to assist you with this unique motorcars future in any capacity, as we retain the original Greyhound body bucks, factory drawings and craftsmen who helped maintain this car previously.

To the casual observer, the 1963 DB5 is virtually indistinguishable from a late model DB4 Vantage; the DB5 is essentially a four-litre version of the DB4.
Initially fitted with the four-speed David Brown gearbox, the vast majority of cars received the superior five-speed gearbox either as an option or later as standard fitting.
So why is the DB5 so often thought of as the quintessential Aston Martin. Its production, however, was fairly short-lived, ending in September 1965 after 1,021 models had been manufactured.
Presented in stunning Silver Birch coachwork with contrasting black leather trim this example purchased in the mid 1990’s and was subject to a body off restoration and nut and bolt rebuild spanning two decades, importantly retaining its original factory bodywork. Originally Caribbean Pearl Blue, the car was repainted in the iconic colour it wears today and the original black leather retrimmed by Aston Martin specialists.
In order to retain its original factory registration, Aston Martin Heritage Trust have inspected and validated this DB5’s authenticity to the DVLA where BNE 251C was reassigned with its current V5C. Accompanying the history file are photos throughout the restoration and many invoices including the full engine rebuild.
This splendid example of the iconic DB5 would grace any collection but is also ready for the road. The ultimate attainment for many an Aston Martin enthusiast.

The replacement for the ageing XJS. Designed in-house by Geoff Lawson, the newcomer (in common with the Aston Martin DB7) was based on a much-modified XJS platform - the changes to which included the adoption of XJ40-type independent rear suspension. The standard version of the XK8 was powered by a 290bhp normally-aspirated version of the company's AJ26 V8 engine, and for those requiring more performance, Jaguar offered a supercharged version, the mighty XKR. Like the XK8, this 370bhp monster was available in closed or open guise and could hit 60mph in a whisker over five seconds and power quickly to the electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.
Manufactured in 2001, this XKR was first UK registered on the 22nd of January of that year. Fitted with the 3996cc Jaguar DOHC V8 engine allied to the five-speed ZF automatic transmission, ‘X614 ADF’ is finished in Emerald Green with a complementing Cashmere Interior. showing full-service history throughout, this Jaguar had been purchased by the most recent custodian in 2016. Since its purchase, the following works had been carried out.
-replacement battery in January 2022.
-Replacement Condenser and A/C regas in March 2022
Front lower suspension bushes replaced, interim service May 2021
fitment of two pirelli p zero’s in July 2020
Full service including plugs and water pump, coolant hose in February 2020
replace brake pipe off side front to rear, replace all brake pads and discs in June 2018
Interim service in August 2017

This 1965 Buick Electra 225 Convertible was first registered in Wisconsin before being sold to someone in Arizona. The 3rd owner transported it to Minnesota where it then spent 40+ years in dry storage, with the owner he fitting factory air-con plus upgrading the front 4-way power seats to 6-way.
Our client bought the car in 2017, had it shipped to California and had a new top and interior installed, had it serviced and used it as a holiday car before shipping to the UK in 2019.
He asked us to do a bare metal repaint in June 2020 as the original paint had seen better days. It only shows 01520 on the dash, and as the milage is unknown we have put it down as 101520.
The Fisher body is blemish free with only small marks on the bumpers. Underneath features an even coat of black protection with no evidence of replacement, damage or patch repairs. There is an NOS front bumper that can be sold with the car, plus several boxes of spares. Also included are a set of factory tinted side windows (not fitted) a factory option for convertibles at the time.
The AM/ FM radio and power antenna work well. The A/ C blows cool air. The heater and defogger both work too. This car features power hood, power steering, power brakes, power windows, six way seat, cornering lights and trunk release plus, cruise control.
Under the hood the Buick’s 401 ‘Nailhead’ Wildcat V8 (that’s 6. 5 litres) with four-barrel carbs, a Super Turbine 400 three-speed automatic transmission. It has the optional Wildcat wheels rather than the standard hub caps.

Having made a major contribution to both world wars, the Bristol Aeroplane Company ended 1945 with a surplus of skilled labour and, to redeploy this resource, created a luxury car division. Under the war reparation scheme, rights were acquired regarding pre-war BMWs and their powerplants. The company was, therefore, able to produce its first vehicle - the 400 Saloon - in the autumn of 1946. The chassis was based on that of the BMW 326, its graceful body inspired by the 327, and the engine a mildly modified version of the 328 unit. Introduced in 1954, the 405 Saloon was Bristol's first and, so far, only four-door offering. Effectively a long-wheelbase version of the outgoing 404, it was also the first of the marque to feature an opening boot lid. The newcomer was powered by the 100B2 version of the company's 1971cc OHV straight-six engine. It developed some 110bhp and drove through a four-speed manual gearbox plus Laycock de Normanville overdrive. The suspension was independent at the front by a transverse leaf spring and by solid axle and torsion bars at the rear. Braking was by drums all around (front discs were optional) and steering by rack and pinion. Total 405 production comprised 265 Saloons and 43 Drophead Coupes. The model was replaced by the 406 in 1958.
This particular example chassis 405/ 4073 was registered on 18th January 1955 on the very suitable registration mark ‘VHU400’.

1959 Austin Healey Sprite Frogeye -NOW SOLD-
-This Mo
Chassis Number AN5 14213
The Austin-Healey Sprite is a small, open sports car which was announced to the press in Monte Carlo on 20th May, 1958, just before the Monaco Grand Prix. It was intended to be a low-cost model that 'a chap could keep in his bike shed', yet be the successor to the sporting versions of the pre-war Austin Seven. The Sprite was designed by the Donald Healey Motor Company, which received a royalty payment from the manufacturers, BMC. It first went on sale at a price of £669, using a mildly tuned version of the Austin A-Series engine and it shared many other components from existing cars to keep costs down. The little Sprite quickly became affectionately known as the 'Frogeye' in the UK and the 'Bugeye' in the US, because its headlights were prominently mounted on top of the bonnet, inboard of the front wings. Originally the designers had intended that the headlights could be retracted, with the lenses facing skyward when not in use; but cost-cutting by BMC led to the flip-up mechanism being deleted. The front sheet-metal assembly, including the bonnet and wings, was a one-piece unit, hinged from the back that swung up to allow access to the engine compartment. The 43bhp, 948cc engine was upgraded with twin 1 1/8" inch SU carburettors. The rack and pinion steering and suspension were derived from the Morris Minor with the front suspension made up of a coil spring and wishbone arrangement with the arm of the Armstrong lever shock absorber serving as the top suspension link. The rear axle was both located and sprung by quarter-elliptic leaf springs, again with lever-arm shock absorbers. There were no exterior door handles; the driver and passenger were required to reach inside to open the door. There was also no boot lid and access to the spare wheel and luggage compartment was achieved by tilting the seat-backs forward and reaching under the rear deck.
This Healey in particular was registered on the 14th July 1959, and has only 3 owners from new, being in the most recent ownership for two decades. The most recent custodian, stripped the car from a running condition the early 2000’s, entrusting Croft Engine Services with a rebuild of the cylinder head and engine in 2005. This has not been fitted since however spins freely.
A very honest a rust free example retaining its steel bonnet, and is prepared in primer and will just need slight rework prior to topcoat and reassembly. The steering rolls freely, however we would recommend going through the suspension and brake system prior to road use.
All trim work is as pictured and the windscreen will need replacing.
This Project is registered with a current UK V5 and is supplied with gearbox, carburettors, grille (not pictured)

Full Service History
This motorcar is a 2001 Carrera 4 in Schwarz metallic, paired with full black leather trim and Alcantara headlining. Most notably it is in the highly desirable manual gearbox format. The exterior of the car is very presentable for a motorcar of this age with minor marks and stone chips on the front. The wheels have been refurbished and paired with recent Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s. Within the cabin, the dashboard is unmarked with very tidy leather seats and door cards.
The most recent custodian purchased the car in 2015 and embarked on a no expense spared pursuit to keep this car to Stuttgart standard. He entrusted marque specialist Sports and Classic to carry out the works amassing over 20,000 pounds over his seven years of ownership. Some of the works will be listed below.

45,000 miles from new
Three owners from new, under current ownership for two decades.
The Mini is considered an icon of the 1960s and has become one of the most famous classic cars of all time. In 1959 The British Motor Corporation launched the Mini to compete with the bubble cars of the day. These were a consequence of the Suez crisis in 1956 that resulted in petrol rationing. Alec Issigonis, who designed the Morris Minor, was asked by BMC boss Leonard Lord to design a car that would drive the bubble cars off the road. He was instructed to design a car that would seat four, be the smallest car that the Corporation currently made and to use an existing engine. So the Mini was given the A series engine that had already been used in the Morris Minor and Austin A35 thereby making economical use of existing parts. The only difference was that it was mounted sideways in a very clever arrangement with the gearbox in the sump driving the front wheels. This design has been taken up by pretty much every car manufacturer worldwide to this day.
Over 41 years of production, from 1959 to 2000, the Mini can be divided up into 3 basic major design changes: The Mini Mk1 from 1959 to 1967, the Mini Mk2 from 1967 to 1970, the Mini Mk3 from 1970 to 1976 and finally the Mini Mk4 from 1976.
This Mini in particular was first registered on the 12th of July 1987. Over the past thirty-five years since manufacture, it has only had three owners and has been in current ownership since May 2003. Furthermore, it has only covered 45,000 miles.
The exterior shows a very good condition shell with period-correct fittings. The glass around the car is original with the registration mark etchings.
The interior seats have been retrimmed and the upgraded dashboard with 3 gauge centre binnacle including oil pressure.
Mechanically the car has recently had a new steering rack, new radiator and alternator.
The engine pulls well and holds good oil pressure, very capable of keeping up with modern traffic.
This is a very presentable example of the classic Mini and represents phenomenal value with only 3 owners and 45,000 miles.

1974 Norton Commando 850
Launched in 1967, the Commando featured an ingenious, vibration-beating 'Isolastic' frame that enabled Norton Villiers to prolong the life of their ageing parallel twin. The Commando used the preceding Featherbed-framed Atlas model's 750cc engine and AMC gearbox, and was an instant hit with the motorcycling public, being voted Motor Cycle News 'Machine of the Year' for five consecutive years. Introduced in 1973, the 850 (actually 829cc) featured a larger-bore, through-bolted cylinder block, stronger gearbox casting, and an all-metal clutch among a host of other, more minor improvements.
This particular Motorcycle has been in collection for the past twenty years with only 3 former keepers, starts, stops and steers as you'd expect. Could benefit with some light recommissioning for touring use.

1964 Triumph Bonneville T120 650cc
There's little argument that a mid-1960s Triumph Bonneville is just about the best-looking Britbike ever made, with just-right proportions and a jaunty, let's-go-riding attitude. Comedian and motorcycle collector Jay Leno has owned a 1964 Bonnie for 28 years – it's identical to the T120 on offer here – and says, "As far as being a good-looking bike, they don't get much better. Simple, classic, elegant, it looks like a real motorcycle."
This was the second year for Triumph's unit-construction 650, relegating the arcane setup of separate crankcases and gearbox housing to the history books. The ignition system was also brought out of the Dark Ages, the ancient magneto/dynamo arrangement replaced with an alternator and points. The stiffer single-downtube chassis introduced in 1963 remained, though new-design forks were fitted. These had external springs covered by rubber gators, resulting in one of the best-handling road bikes of the 1960s.
- Matching numbers example in original condition
- Will need light recommissioning as last on the road in 2003. Runs, drives, starts, and stops.
- Is being sold from our collection and was in previous ownership for over 20 years.
- With UK reg papers
- Will take part ex classic cars only

Launched in 1975, its twenty one year production life was a testimony to the excellence of its basic design. Its excellent ride and handling balance was justly praised by the contemporary motoring press. The XJS's superlative 5.3 litre developed some 295bhp in later fuel injected form and when allied to automatic transmission gave authoritative 150mph performance. The car was re-engineered in 1991 with the rear side windows enlarged and a new four litre engine. The rear section benefited from the new ‘facelift’ rear lights. The V12 engine's capacity was enlarged to 6.0 litres in May 1992 and it had a power output of 227 kW (304 hp).
Originally registered on 12 May 1993 this delightful XJS benefits from having had over £3500 worth of work on this car in recent times, most recent works include a new radiator installed in September last year. Mileage is 81, 000. Date of first registration: 12/05/1993.
The paintwork is in very good order as is the grey leather trim. Mechanically these 5,993cc V12 engines are very robust and reliable, these ‘end of the line’ XJS’s are generally viewed as being the most stylish and reliable.
Aesthetically pleasing this coupé has stunning lines and proportions with a well-designed cockpit area featuring simple to read instruments and buttons within easy reach.
Supplied with a V5C registration document, together with a current MOT. This Jaguar offers excellent value and represent a high quality motorcar at just over 25 years old.

The Peugeot 203 was produced by the French car manufacturer between 1948 and 1960. Between the demise of the 202 in 1949 and the launch of the 403 in 1955, the 203 was the only model produced by Peugeot.
The 203 was first exhibited at the Paris Motor Show in 1947 and production got under way late in 1948, with buyers taking delivery of 203s from early 1949. The 203 was the first new model produced by Peugeot after World War II and was also its first monocoque bodied model.
It was powered by a 1290 cc four-cylinder engine that was unusual in its 'oversquare' cylinder dimensions and noted for the hemispherical form of the combustion chambers in the light metal cylinder heads. At launch, a power output of 31 kW was claimed. A column-mounted gear change controlled a four-speed manual gearbox, delivering power to the rear wheels. Suspension was independent up front by way of a transverse leaf spring, while the rear suspension was coil springs with a Panhard rod. Possibly the most significant upgrade occurred in March 1954 with a new four speed gearbox featuring synchromesh on all forward speeds. Cars delivered between 1949 and 1954 came without synchromesh on the bottom ratio. During its 12-year production run nearly 700,000 Peugeot 203s of all variants rolled off the assembly line in Sochaux, France. The final Peugeot 203 rolled off the production line at the Peugeot Sochaux plant on 25 February 1960.
The motorcar offered here is a recent trade in, a home market car residing in Paris until it was imported to the UK and registered in November 2019 (UK number plates to be fitted).
In terms of performance it accelerates well, changes gear smoothly and stops as it should. It can keep with modern traffic and has the practicality of being a four door sedan.
This matching numbers Peugeot is a survivor, showing a nice solid shell with the exterior paintwork being older respray with blemishes.Interior is nicely patinated throughout.
A rare alternative to the Morris Minor, that will be the star of every car show or pub car park.

The Austin-Healey 100 was built between 1953 and 1956 by BMC (British Motor Corporation). It was developed by Donald Healey to be produced in-house by Healey's small car company in Warwick and based on the Austin A90 Atlantic mechanics.
Healey built a single 'Healey Hundred' for the 1952 London Motor Show and the design impressed Leonard Lord, Managing Director of Austin, so much that a deal was struck with Healey to build it in quantity at Austin's Longbridge factory. The car was renamed the Austin-Healey 100. The '100' name comes from Donald Healey, who selected the name from the car's ability to reach 100mph, as opposed to the Austin-Healey 3000, which is named for its 3000cc engine.
The first 100's (series BN1) were equipped with the same 90bhp engines and manual transmission as the stock A90, but the transmission was modified to be a three-speed unit with overdrive on second and top. The 2660cc engine featured an undersquare 87.3mm bore and 111.1mm stroke. Girling 11" drum brakes are fitted all round. Front suspension is independent using coil springs and at the rear is a rigid axle with semi elliptic leaf spring while the steering is by a cam and lever system. A BN1 tested by The Motor magazine in 1953 had a top speed of 106mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 11.2 seconds. These were built from May 1953, and replaced by the BN2 model in mid-1955.

The AC Two Litre works development car. Personally Owned by Derek Hurlock , OPG 192, built in 1950 at AC Cars in Thames Ditton works where it was fitted with Independent Front Suspension the result was a very robust split-axle suspension , the outcome of the exercise was rather mixed; the ride and steering on poor road surfaces was greatly improved, but made the steering somewhat heavier than beam-axled cars. The company, seeing in the far and not too distant future the end of volume production for the saloon, lost interest in the future development of the IFS. This holding significant value being the only Two Litre to have IFS.
The car has been displayed at Club Events by Derek Hurlock. OPG 192 is captured here at a very wet Silverstone. In addition to this following the end of the second world war, the RAC Rally was finally revived in 1951. OPG 192 was entered by AC Cars for the event, driven by Derek Hurlock and Jock Henderson. The start of the rally was in Hastings and the finish in Bournemouth. The car had been photographed on the rally as seen. Being rich in history of AC cars, its a project worth saving, would make a genuine period competition or rally car.
The Two Litre requires a complete restoration of body, wood and mechanical work, the engine was in running condition prior to removal four years ago, however it has been put into storage. The cars leather interior and other components e.g steering wheel etc seem in good condition still.

1958 AC Ace Bristol
Chassis No: BEX449
Engine No: 100D2 3807
Formerly property of the late French Actor Gerard Blain.
AC Cars made a severe impact on the sports car industry, when the Ace was revealed at the 1953 London Motor show, with its simply elegant body, and John Tojeiro's thoughtfully engineered chassis, In the hands of the Hurlock brothers working alongside Tojeiro, they produced a vehicle with four wheel independent suspension, with a simplistic chassis design based around two three inch diameter tubes. The Aces initially were produced with the John Weller designed AC two litre straight six engine that had been continuously developed from its origin in 1919,even though these pre war engines had been developed over the years, they only provided a respectable 105 horsepower at there peak, a higher powered modern engine was needed, After 220 cars had been produced by 1956, Race driver Ken Rudd of the tuning shop Ruddspeed of Worthing inspired the AC factory to install the 120 horsepower Bristol engine, these engines offered high power from standard were capable of a higher state of tune. The change in power plant made the Ace a staple on the track, Ace Bristols ran successfully at Le Mans from 1957 to 1962 by various entrants, best placing at 7th Place Overall in 1959 in the hands of Ken Rudd and John Turner. However, it was on a domestic club level where Ace Bristols earned their reputation as supreme racing machines. Only 680 cars were produced prior to being used as the platform of the brutal V8 Cobra.
This Ace Bristol left the Thames Ditton Factory on 14th April 1958 was supplied new to the french AC distributorAndre Chardonett of Paris, once the car had arrived it was purchased immediately by Gerad Blain, the Actor and Director by trade, he was involved in over sixty french films up till his death in 2000, the vehicle is seen in period photographs of a young Blain and associates in awe of the British craftsmanship.
The vehicle has been authenticated that it retains all matching boot, bonnet and door numbers, also it is powered by a Bristol 100D2 engine.
The current owner purchased the vehicle in 2007 and completed a body off restoration attending to chassis and bodywork followed by completely overhauling all components including drivetrain, suspension, brakes, including many practical upgrades including installation of a aluminium radiator and a synchromesh gearbox for the use of first gear, it still retains elements of its past including interior trim that show patina. The vehicle has seen some competitive track use in 2014, placing 4th in the Bentley Drivers Club, 60th anniversary race for the AC Ace, it also participated at the 72nd Goodwood members meeting.
This beautiful example is presented in Aston Martin racing green, It also features a works hardtop and full weather gear.

We are delighted to announce this vehicle is now Sold
'Of them all, the Ace was the truest sports car: it could be used for daily commuting or for high-speed long-distance touring, but it could also be driven to a race meeting, campaigned with distinction, and driven home again - even if that race was the Le Mans 24 Hours.' - AC Heritage, Simon Taylor & Peter Burn.
The success of Cliff Davis's Tojeiro sports racer prompted AC Cars to put the design into production in 1954 as the Ace. The Davis car's pretty Ferrari 166-inspired barchetta bodywork was retained, as was John Tojeiro's twin-tube ladder frame chassis and Cooper-influenced all-independent suspension, but the power unit was AC's own venerable, 2-liter, long-stroke six. This single-overhead-camshaft engine originated in 1919 and with a modest 80bhp (later 100bhp) on tap, endowed the Ace with respectable, if not outstanding, performance.
In 1955, AC added a hardtop version - the fastback-styled Aceca - and from 1956 onwards both models became available with the more powerful Bristol 2-liter, six-cylinder engine with its ingeniously arranged, pushrod-operated inclined valves. Although taller and heavier than AC's own engine, the BMW-based Bristol was considerably more powerful thanks to its superior cylinder head design and down-draught carburettors. Up to 130bhp was available from the Bristol unit in road trim, in which form the Ace could touch 120mph (195km/h), while around 150bhp could be wrung from it for racing.
The combination of a fine-handling chassis and a decent power-to-weight ratio helped the Ace to numerous successes in production sports car racing; arguably its finest achievement being a first-in-class and seventh overall finish at Le Mans in 1959. Indeed, its basic soundness and versatility were reflected in the fact that relatively few major changes were found necessary when the Ace was endowed with Ford V8 power to create the legendary Cobra.
Of the 463 Ace Bristol’s produced at the Thames Ditton Works, only 100 of them came in right hand drive.
The Motorcar offered is BE 294, it is one of sixteen right hand drive Ace Bristols that were exported. 294 left the Thames Ditton works on the 18th May 1957 and had been shipped to Hong Kong.
I had been racing in a few hill climbs with the Hong Kong Motor Sport Club and done alright so I thought why not’
After finishing out of the running in the '55 race with a blown engine and missing the 1956 GP due to work commitments.
Hardwick returned to the Guia Circuit , in his recently acquired AC Ace Bristol (BE294), he achieved his best lap time of 3m and 45.7s, the third fastest lap on the grid 11 seconds behind the leading Mercedes 300SL of Pateman. He completed the 77 lap of Guia in a swift 4 hours 58 minutes and 15 seconds, under four minutes behind the winning Mercedes 300SL.
Hardwick returned the following year for the fifth Macau grand prix , battling it out for second place with the XK140 of Tom Reynolds. Hardwick managed to lap Barnes in the Porsche 1600 on the 48th lap, Barnes would go on to place 3rd, Hardwick comfortably claimed 2nd and Chan Lye-Choon placed 1st.
The 1958 Grand Prix Weekend included multiple short races of which Hardwick showed a great performance, placing 1st in the A.C.P Trophy race and 3rd in the Production Car Race.
Hardwick would eventually go on to win the Macau Grand prix in 1959 in a Jaguar XKSS.

A rare opportunity to acquire an unmolested 325i with one family ownership for over 28 years.
Chassis No: WBAAA12070AE52395
Engine No: 22384542
Registration No: G675 WOO
Previous owners: 3 before current.
First registered on 01/08/1989
Mileage:167,000
Compact rear-wheel drive saloons were in short supply in the 1980's and consequently, the E30 quickly stood out as something special, being lightweight, refined, and offering unparalleled driving pleasure. With the success of the M3, BMW capitalised on the demand for more sporting E30s, and in 1986 gave the market the ‘325i Sport’, a 2-door only model with numerous ‘M-Tech’ upgrades from BMW's Motorsport Division.
These included an M Technic body-kit and boot spoiler. M Technic suspension (15mm lower springs and Boge M Technic shock absorbers) and a 5-speed ZF close-ratio gearbox. The car is powered by the legendary M20 2494cc straight-six engine giving 171bhp and 164 lb-ft of torque, good for 132 mph and 0-62 mph time of 9.9 seconds, decently quick but it's really the whole driving experience that impresses so much.
This example is a 1989 BMW E30 325i Sport (Tech-2), UK-supplied, right-hand drive car supplied by Sewell BMW to MR H Jones of Ware, Hertfordshire. Finished in Delphin Metallic and first registered on 1st August 1989. The car was under Mr Jones care until May 1991 when it passed to Mr Irvine- Fynn and has been under his families ownership since. During this time a Hayward & Scott full sports exhaust was fitted and provides an exhilarating tone as you’d expect.
Our workshop undertook the works of recommissioning the 325i. We attended to the very little metalwork that was needed on the drivers side and passenger footwells, these were the only affected areas. The car is solid throughout due to being dry stored its whole life. We carried a full service out including all fluids, plugs and filters. At this time we decided it was appropriate to replace the discs and pads on all four corners.
Within the cabin it is evident that the car had been cared for over the years, all the original cloth interior is in great condition, as with all plastic trims and dashboard there is no cracking. The exterior Delphin Metallic paintwork is very good and is not representative of the mileage.
The history file includes very early correspondence from Mr Jones and Sewell BMW, BMW Books and MOT history. Servicing of this car was carried out by Mr Irvine-Fynn during his ownership as an avid car collector and restorer he was more than capable.

A unique opportunity to purchase a early Volvo P1800s project, with the desirable hockey stick trims and honeycomb grill.
Introduced in 1960 and popularized by The Saint television series, Volvo's pretty P1800 Sports Coupe, although no hairy-chested tire-shredder, was nonetheless something of a radical departure for the sober-sided Swedish concern. Based on the 121 saloon, the P1800 was built by Jensen Motors until production transferred to Sweden in 1963, and employed Volvo's rugged, four-cylinder, overhead-valve engine in 1,782cc form. Breathing through twin SU carburetors, this unit produced 100bhp, an output sufficient to propel the solidly built Coupe to a top speed of around 105mph. The running gear was conventional, with independent front suspension and live rear axle, while all versions came with servo-assisted front disc brakes.
The introduction of the successor P1800S in 1963 - S for Sweden where the car was now produced – saw improved quality control, and horsepower output upped to 108bhp. Fuel injection was standardized in 1969, maximum power increasing to 130bhp, with four-wheel disc brakes arriving at the same time. By the end of the 1960s, the model was beginning to look dated but the introduction of the Reliant GTE-influenced P1800ES sports estate extended its lease of life into the early 1970s.
This 1966 P1800 S was manufactured from the factory in light blue Having been laid up for several years in storage, we have replaced the fuel tank and recommissioned the vehicle to get it to start and stop.
The bodywork has surface visible surface corrosion and the inner wings will require repair sections, however the underside is pretty solid.
The interior is scruffy but original and will require restoration.
This volvo will make great fia/fiva rally car donor alternatively it can be a running restoration project. A fantastic candidate being a early model in the famous ‘the saint’ colour scheme.

This 2001 Porsche Boxster 2.7 has just turned over to 90,000 miles and maintains near faultless collector-quality example of an engaging and authentic mid-engined sports car. It is powered by a 2.7-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 217bhp, driven through the rear wheels via a slick five-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows a mere 90,266 miles from new, which is fully warranted. Benefitting from the 2000 model year upgrades, with the smoother fly-by-wire throttle and improved mechanical reliability, this Boxster is a useable and exciting modern classic. Writing about the 986 model, Porsche specialist Peter Morgan says the 2.7-litre Boxster is “arguably the definitive everyday Porsche - its lively throttle response and supreme road confidence are suited to a wide range of driving abilities.”
First registered in March 2001, this car has been impeccably maintained by nine previous keepers. While the majority of service history has been at Porsche dealers , it has most recently been serviced by MB Autos of Byfleet at 85,699 miles.
The mileage does not represent the bodywork, as it remains in outstanding condition. It is finished in the original factory coat Guardsman Red, which is immaculate. The only imperfections noted by us are a few almost imperceptible chips in the paint on the front near side wing.
The black fabric hood is in great shape, and the folding mechanism works perfectly., The original 17-inch silver alloy wheels are unmarked.
The black carpeting, leather panels on the door cards and all of the interior plastics are in equally impressive condition, and all of the switchgear works as it should. The car is equipped with climate control, along with the CDR-22 audio system. At the front and rear, the luggage areas appear to be barely used, and the Porsche retains its space-saver spare wheel, as well as the factory-supplied tools.
Accompanying the car is all of the original literature and the book pouch, including driver’s manual, stamped maintenance record and stereo user guide, miscellaneous receipts and two keys.

Brooklands Cars are delighted to present one of the earliest and lowest mileage S2000’s on the market currently, with only 7500 miles.
The Honda S2000 was the successor of the 1995 Honda SSM. the SSM was a notable participant at the Tokyo Motor show of that year. This concept had been developed by Italian design house Pininfarina. The design of the S2000 that we all know and love was penned by Daisuke Sawai and carried the namesake of the Honda S- series motorcars.
Production of the S2000 started in 1999 at the Takanezawa Plant, designating these early cars as the ‘AP1’ model and then carrying through to the ‘AP2’ that concluded a decade later.
The recipe of a front mid-engined sports car remained majorly unchanged throughout the production run, always featuring the short 2400mm wheelbase and the two litre, four cylinder DOHC VTEC engine, that screams to its famous 9000 rpm redline.
This motorcar, in particular, had been imported from japan in 1999 under instruction to get the earliest S2000 available, after being registered it passed onto the owner who had it for 12 months and passed it onto the next custodian, who lovingly owned the car for the next twenty years, averaging only 375 miles per year.
Maintenance was carried out by the owner throughout the years, and MOT’s are present to authenticate mileage.
A timewarp interior with an unmarked black and grey interior throughout, retaining the original honda radio, that has been adapted to receive FM radio. The black mohair hood is in great condition as seen. The boot space follows this trend with the addition of the tool kit, Japanese owners manual and UK owners manual to match.
The exterior bodywork is superb and original paintwork throughout, all panel gaps are as per factory. The motorcar also retains all original stickers within sills, bonnets and boot lid.
The appropriate plate ‘S200O MY’ is included in the sale.
Well kept S2000’s are increasingly sought after in the modern classic car market, and Brooklands are delighted to provide you with the opportunity to own this piece of JDM history.

AC MKIV Cobra
Date of First Registration: 10/04/1986
Chassis Number: AK1147
Mileage: 37400
The MKIV Cobra was manufactured by AC/Autokraft at Brooklands Motor Circuit, sharing many similarities to the period motorcars.
The MKIV wore strikingly similar hand wheeled aluminium bodywork, wrapped to a coil sprung ladder chassis.
This particular left hand drive example, was supplied new to Mr Fayer Bayzid during 1986 to the following specification taken from the AC Factory Build Ledger that we hold.
‘ Left Hand Drive, Black with Red Stripe body colour, Black Trim and Tonneau, Hood Scoop, Shortened Nose, Auto Transmission and oil cooler’
Following delivery of the vehicle it was exported to Portugal later that year. After a short term overseas it was repatriated by its second owner Mr Leslie Kitson in August of 1988.
Under Mr Kitson’s care the motorcar was dispatched to Autokraft for a manual gearbox conversion.
The paperwork indicates that the following mechanical upgrades had been installed over a 6 year period;
Detachable roll over bar ( included in sale, not mounted)
Harvey Bailey front/rear anti roll bars
Uprated front and rear coil springs
All round Koni adjustable shock absorbers front and rear
Aeroquip stainless steel brake lines
At this time Mr Kitson had a 302cu SVO lightweight engine built by Performance Unlimited of Dunnington, apparently to this specification.
Ford Motorsport 302 Block (Four Bolt Mains)
Crower Rods
Custom made alloy pistons
Crower '3/4 Race’ Camshaft
Baffled Alloy Sump
Uprated Oil Pump
Bosch Fuel Pump
Mallory Dual Point Distributor
Gas flowed Ford Motorsport GT40- type cylinder heads
Roller Rockers
4 to 1 Balanced exhaust manifold
Full dual stainless steel rear exit exhaust system.
Quad 44 IDF Weber Downdraught Carburettors
Kenlowe Fan.
Doug Nash (Richmond) 5 Speed Gearbox with Hurst Shifter
Lakewood Shatterproof Bell Housing
Full Dual Stainless Steel Exhaust
Most of these works were carried out at 20,000 miles are documented in the comprehensive history file. The result of these works left the vehicle with 380 bhp and 370 ft/lbs of torque at the time of the build, and is suitable for use of lead free fuels.
The motorcar is lent a more period feel by its Moto-Lita Woodrim steering wheel and 15 inch alloy wheels with three eared knock offs and Le Mans fuel filler cap.
It left Mr Kitson’s ownership in 2001 with 32,000 miles seeing only light use and servicing from RW Racing Services, it changed hands once more in 2011 to the most recent owner, who had the car refinished in a straight black similar to the original specification.
The appealing enhanced motorcar has just been through a AC heritage service and inspection and possesses a MOT certificate until October 2019.

By the 1970s AC had stopped servicing Cobras, and Cobra mechanic Brian Angliss quickly stepped in to fill the void. With a strong customer base and good reputation, he grew close to the AC factory and was eventually able to collect enough original tooling, jigs, and body bucks from the Thames Ditton facility to fabricate new aluminium bodies, whilst also utilising the same tooling and jigs used to build the original Ace and Cobra bodies.
A new AC company was established as a joint venture with Ford, which began offering the AC Mk IV, a revival of the original Cobra, which ended production with the Mk III in 1967. These cars, built using the original tooling and the same materials as the originals, were praised for their exceptional build quality.
Following many similarities of the MKIII, placement of large ford powerplant, this time a 302 cu into the coil-sprung ladder chassis with a curvaceous hand formed aluminium body to suit.
Ultimately, approximately 480 Mk IV Cobras were built.
This motorcar, in particular, was first purchased by David Bennet and had been passed onto the second owner in 1998, over the two decades of the last custodian, it has been subject to a meticulous service record, returning only to specialists of the AC marque throughout this time
On the mechanical side, the power plant has been upgraded more powerful Ford 302 SVO, GT40 specification unit at circa 24,000 miles. In addition to this, the gearbox has been rebuilt at 34,551 miles and most recently the clutch at 37,352 miles. Further upgrades include the fitment of the front and rear anti roll bars.
The history file of this motorcar is extensive, including the initial purchase following the service record to date.
The Cobra has retained the Guardsman Blue body colour and Tan leather interior that matches our AC Factory build ledger (The Bible).
Lending a period feel with the addition of bullet racing mirrors and Wooden Rim Motolita Steering wheel, included in the cockpit is a battery cut off switch and four point harness for both seats.
The exterior follows suit with tri eared bronze spinners and 16 inch Halibrand Wheels.
All associated weather gear (hood, hood frame, tonneau and side screens) are present alongside the handbook and two sets of keys.
This motorcar has just been subject to Brooklands Motor Works service and inspection and is one of the highest standard MKIV Cobras, we’ve seen.

2012 AC Cobra MKII Classic Aluminium Continuation Car
The motorcar offered is a AC heritage division hand crafted Cobra 289.
Built as a homage to the 50th Anniversary of the Cobra from 1962-2012. It was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2012, alongside the AC 378 GT Zagato Prototype.
This vehicle has been hand crafted by AC Heritage, located at the birthplace of British Motorsport. Brooklands Motor Circuit in Surrey.
The AC Factory craftsman produced the sixteen gauge aluminium body on the original factory wooden body bucks. We furthered the accuracy of this build with reference from our archive of the Thames Ditton factory drawings to achieve an exact MKII 289 to factory specification.
In reference to the chassis, it has been manufactured on the factory AC chassis tooling, with the correct three inch diameter main rails and meets all current requirements for historic racing, making it eligible for the FIA HTP approval.

In addition to this the vehicle can be road registered correctly as an ‘AC’ Motorcar with the DVLA through the approval process.
In the spirit of the production of the Shelby Cobras created in period.
Our AC Heritage team have produced a ‘glider’ car that has the body panels fully wrapped.(fitted). The bodywork is produced on an english wheel and has been gas welded together using its parent metal, these traditional skills are unique to period AC Cobra construction.
The internal panels all pre fitted including the fibreglass footboxes and wheel well. The bespoke aluminium panel work (floors, gearbox tunnel boot floors etc) have all been pre fitted and are easily removable for fitment of mechanical components.
The suspension is partially assembled for show purposes, and is currently in a rolling form.

Under a new management team at AC Cars, chaired by the very British-Sounding General, Sir Jeremy Mackenzie, former Deputy Supreme Allied Command NATO Europe, Aide de Camp General to HM The Queen, dedicated AC enthusiast and armed with a plan to switch some production to the same factory in South Africa which made Lee Noble's cars, AC marched into the 2012 Geneva motor show with high hopes for renewed brand success. "Geneva 2012 marks a new beginning for the AC brand", said Mackenzie, "The company has suffered from a series of false starts in recent years but at the root of those has always been the lack of a proper manufacturing base. Now that it has entered into joint ventures with manufacturing entities with strong track records in producing cars which share the iconic AC pedigree, all that is firmly in the past".
In time for the year's most eagerly awaited Motor show, the British sports car specialist teamed up with fabled Italian coachbuilder, Zagato, to create the all new AC 378 GT Zagato. AC had an on-off relationship for much of the past decade, with production switched abroad, management changes and a confusing product line-up. However, under the new management, the hopes were to make a go of AC Cars, one of the world's oldest car brands, beginning with a supercar to be sold in the UK and Germany where it would retail for €109,990. The only problem was that the AC 378 GT Zagato didn't arrive in time at Palexpo for press day after an altercation with Customs. The svelte new coupé packs a punch with a General Motors 6.2-litre, V8 under the bonnet and tuned to 434bhp. It was indeed previewed at Perana in 2009 and It's not the first time AC Cars has looked to Italy for design inspiration: the AC Ace Bristol Zagato of the 1950s and AC Frua of the 1960s were both penned by the Italian carrozzeria. Under the new management, AC planned further developments with Zagato, including a limited run of AC Ace Bristol Zagatosand and the reintroduction of the AC Ace Classic, a kind of junior Cobra to be sold for less than £50,000 in the UK.
This example, the pre-production prototype Geneva 2012 show car, which was famously late for its unveiling having been held at customs, has been owned and cared for since by Brooklands Motor Company and AC Heritage, a custodian of the old AC workshops at the Brooklands Motor Museum, AC Specialists and its spiritual home. Having been used sparingly at shows and press-calls, the AC 378 GT Zagato is presented as it was on the AC stands in 2012. A truly unique example steeped in British motoring history despite being a truly modern supercar, this example presented in metallic blue with contrasting grey/black interior coupled with a 6.2 litre, V8 is a fully registered roadworthy example and can be seen gracing the road and track at the Double Twelve motor show 2015 on You Tube. Subject to much media hype, Zagato designed a true one-off and rare example. This is sure to interest collectors worldwide and is offered with a good documented history file, viewing is highly

Released in April 1964, Ford Mustang sales figures were nothing short of incredible, with nearly one million units sold in the first eighteen months of production. Thanks to his successes with the Ford-powered 1963-1964 Shelby Cobra, Texan farmer and seasoned racing driver Carroll Shelby was the obvious man to be entrusted with turning a stock Mustang into a successful challenger that could be entered into the Sports Car Championship of America (SCCA) and take on the might of the General Motors Chevrolet Corvette, and so soon after, development of the car was underway at Shelby's Marina del Rey facility in Los Angeles, California.
Unveiled in January 1965 at a basic price of $4,547, and based on a Mustang Fastback, the Shelby GT-350 was effectively a stiff, loud and fast road-legal race car. Under the hood lurked a 289cu.in. V8 producing 306 BHP and the suspension and brakes were extensively modified. The 1966 GT-350 gained Plexiglas rear windows instead of vents, side scoops for improved rear brake cooling and a thin bar grille. These changes translated into numerous successes on the race track and the legendary Shelby GT-350 was born.
Never has the ‘marriage' between a car rental company and a manufacturer yielded such fruitful results as it did between Hertz and Shelby with the inception of the Shelby Mustang GT-350H. In a clever marketing move in 1966, Hertz initially ordered 100 models and requested that it be named the GT-350H, ‘H' standing for Hertz, with a few minor tweaks for their rentals customers. Delivered in Raven Black with Bronze Powder Gold stripes, the order was increased to 200 cars, and by the end of that year 1000 cars were produced in total. It is believed that 800 or so cars were delivered in the black / gold colour scheme, whilst the remaining 200 were built in Wimbledon White, Sapphire Blue, Ivy Green and Candy Apple Red. By the end of '66 the Shelby GT-350H was available at over 50 Hertz airport rental locations across the United States, where customers could hire one for the nominal sum of $17 per day. Many of these cars were rented for weekend use on drag strips and race tracks, and hence the term ‘Rent-a-Racer' was coined.
We are pleased to offer this particular G.T. bearing chassis number #1555 and presented in the Hertz colours of Raven Black & Bronze Powder Gold. According to the SAAC Shelby Registry, on which this car features, it was delivered to Hertz via Larsen Ford Inc. on 31st March 1966, and originally featured an automatic gearbox, however it has since been upgraded to a 4-speed manual Toploader unit.Chassis #1555 rides on 14" 10-spoke alloys, a change from the usual Magnum 500 wheels common on most Hertz cars.
After Hertz use, the car was sold to a Lacy Levone of Wilson, North Carolina, followed by another 2 owners in the U.S. In 1992 the car was purchased by a Dutch collector and remained with him before ownership passed to another collector in Holland, who used the car for classic regulation rallies such as the Rallye de Paris and the Vogezen Classic.
Thought to have never been restored, although probably painted in its lifetime, this original G.T.350H boasts a wonderful patina rarely seen on these cars. With only a small handful residing in the UK, chassis #1555 represents an opportunity to own a slice of American motoring folklore.
Verified and authenticated by the Shelby register, this car is not to be missed!

HK Y4: original spec ‘Belco metallichrome Silver Po 31/2300’ (there was a range of factory colours but you could in fact choose any colour from anywhere – this one was a unique special order) with bright red interior, rhd, auto, power steering, 3.31 rear axle, Borrani disc wheels, disc brakes (by this stage standard for the UK though not yet for elsewhere), body or production nº 545, engine (383ci/6286cc – by this stage standard for HKs) TY7 29277 – single carb as standard for autos. I do not have the date of first registration, but this will have been in November or December 1959. We do not know the first owner – it looks as if he was a Lancastrian (possibly an inhabitant of Blackpool) who had a personal number, as the first known number was 248 WTE, which dates from the last quarter of 1961 – The original owner kept the car for about two years was par for the course. Bought in the late 1960s by Brian Timmins, who lives in Melbourne (Derbyshire. not Australia). from Derek Bottomley in Southport, which confirms the Lancashire connection, and sold by him after a couple of years to M.Ivey of Cliftonville, Kent. Next it went to Scotland and acquired the Glasgow registration RYS 900 – there was some belief that Baxters Soups or someone from the company was involved. Then it turned up parked in a front garden somewhere in Surrey (this would have been around 1977): can’t immediately remember what happened next but Alan Tollman acquired it not long after. Whence to we acquired it approximately twenty years ago with the intention of competing with it .
It has been subject to a full body off restoration all metal work carried out and painted Pearl black metallic over 15 years ago and been dry stored since to a high quality finish.
We have carried out the tasking parts of this near complete restoration and have had manufactured and collected original parts including
- New Trimwork (rear seats, headling and door cards in black leather)
- New alloy Radiator.
-Full Rollcage ( Bolt in)
-Alloy fuel Tank
-New Windscreen
- Bumpers have been restored and are in great shape.

Further orignal parts to aid the future custodian include.
-Original Front Interior, Seats Etc (requires re trimming.)
-Dashboard with original gauges

The Porsche 356 made its appearance in 1948 and was based on a Volkswagen platform. The car would bring class victories across a wide variety of events, from Le Mans, where it won the 1,100-cubic centimeter class in 1951, to rally and hill climbs. By the end of the decade, it was clear that the rear-engine car was truly special.
Over the years, Porsche continued to develop the car, increasing the power, improve handling, and provide increased comfort. In 1960, the 356 B saw the first major styling changes, with the headlights raised, becoming more upright and having larger bumpers, brake cooling slots on the front valence, and revised lid handles. The interior featured a back seat rest that was split for added versatility and rear window defroster vents appeared. Mechanical improvements included upgraded brakes and fifteen-inch wheels. Up-rated Alfin brakes with cooling fins also benefited from air intakes below the headlights which channels cooling air to the front drums.
This New Zealand exported car is a rare factory right hand drive model, with many original features retained including the interior, trim and steering wheel and dials.
The 356 has just been subject to a complete engine rebuild and is currently being run in. Unfortunately during its lifetime it hasn't retained its original engine.
It shows small signs of patina on the body, and interior but aside from a cosmetic respray many years ago it holds it age well.
A rare opportunity to obtain a original right hand drive 356.

Built by AC Cars in Thames Ditton Surrey this AC Magna is fitted with the Weller Six Cylinder AC Engine and sports triple SU Carburetors. The engine has good oil pressure and a recent replacement head gasket. The 3 speed trans axle changes easily and pulls well for a Vintage AC. It’s a matching numbers car (original engine chassis and rear axle). Ideal for fettling and using in modern traffic as it can keep up. A full history file including African Rally Plaques is available.
On the 7th March 1930 a certain Mr Harold Miles Silvans purchased a blue AC with Coupe bodywork, carrying engine number 3467 in chassis number 15924, he was living at the time in London N6. In 1932 he moved to Highgate also N6. He enjoyed custodianship until June 1934, when it was purchased by Charles Hewartson Banks and the car found a new home in Bristol.
Around 15 months later it again changed hands and was acquired by Harold Cummins Hansford who continued to use it until June 1936, this being the last time it had been registered in the UK. 30 years later Mr E B Deacon wrote to Honey and Blankenburg Solicitors of Sailsbury, Rhodesia, offering the sum of five pounds for the remains of the car from the deceased estate of H C Hansford.
Mr Hansford emigrated to Rhodesia in 1936 and presumably used the car until he decided to dismantle the car for restoration, however he passed before he could complete the project. Mr Deacon was successful with his offer and had been given permission by the executors to remove the vehicle on the 21st November 1966.
After 16 years, and without competition of the vehicle Mr Deacon had also passed. The project had been picked up by Mr Chris Gael, a well known amateur restorer and vintage car fan in the new Zimbabwe. The restoration had set off and after long analysis in liaison with the AC owners club, the Coupe body was beyond repair with further consultation of the owners club, Chris created a new ‘Montlery’ Style of two seater boat tailed sports. The frame had been constructed with Oregon pine, panelled with aluminium, followed by padding and a final finish of leather cloth. Work continued and by March 1983 Chris had submitted his application to the Vintage Car club of Rhodesia for a dating certificate. The car was then registered and seen regularly at vintage events throughout Zimbabwe.
The new Zimbabwe was very unsettled for Europeans after the Independence in 1980. Many former colonialists escaped to pastures new - South Africa, Australia and some returning to England. However some stuck it out. Chris held his ground in the new Zimbabwe until 2006 and had such an attachment to the car because when he would have to ‘run’, he was determined to bring the AC with him.
A new fuel tank had to be constructed and this held 12 gallons, linked to this an extra long range tank holding another five gallons, built into the pointed tail. With the theory behind this modification that he could fill both tanks he would have sufficient range to drive from Harare into South Africa without having to search for fuel. However this precaution wasn't necessary as Chris sold the Accedes to Nigel Tucker in January 2000.
However to test the theory conceived in 1983 the car had been driven by Chris followed by Nigel and his wife in a Land Rover. The AC had four gallons on arrival in Messina, South Africa. After continuing their journey through South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique. The AC had been tucked away in its new home in Maputo.
After the initial voyage the car had a few smaller journeys into South Africa, then it was repatriated to the UK in late 2000, after being registered by the DVLA on arrival, the original number plate had been returned from its initial 1930 registration.
This vehicle has been recommissioned to a high standard, a unique motorcar for vintage events.

The Morris Minor was a British economy car that debuted at the Earls Court Motor Show on 20th September 1948. Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis, over 1.3 million examples were manufactured from 1948-1971. Initially available as a two-door saloon and convertible, the range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950 and wood-framed estate, The Traveller, plus the panel van and pick-up truck variants in 1952. The Traveller featured an external structural ash frame for the rear bodywork, with two side-hinged rear doors. The frame was varnished rather than painted and became a highly visible feature of the body style. Other changes included a modified dashboard layout with toggle switches, textured steel instrument binnacle, and larger convex glove box covers. A different heater completed the interior upgrade, whilst the larger, more modern combined front side/indicator light units, common to many BMC vehicles of the time, were fitted to the front wings. During the life of the Minor 1000 model, production declined; the last Convertible was manufactured on 18th August 1969 and the saloon line was discontinued the following year. Almost 850,000 Morris Minor 1000s were made in all. The car was officially superseded by the Morris Marina, which replaced it on the Cowley production line.
This Traveller in particular has been fully restored to class one condition, with various practicality upgrades fitted including a lead free 1275cc enginethat has been fully reconditioned and planted in the vehicle in March of last year with the ancillaries such as the rotor/points, filters, throttle cable all being replaced.Further upgrades include the installation of a five speed gearbox with a new clutch and propshaft, during this time the suspension throughout had been converted to telescopics. On the electronics side there has been the dynamo to alternator conversion and electronic ignition with addition of a S.U electric fuel pump being installed.
The front brakes have been converted to discs with servo assistance.
Aesthetically the vehicle had been repainted to the original colour of Snowberry White in 2014 and the flawless results give credit to the outstanding workmanship. The interior trim includes new front and rear seats, door liners, carpets, head lining and rear load area have all been replaced.
The vehicles chassis has also been wax protected throughout.
This outstanding example of the so desired Traveller, has been subject to thousands of pounds of expenditure and very gentle use.

1951 AC 2-Litre Saloon
Registration no. UXG 747
Chassis no. EL1562
Introduced in 1947, the AC 2-Litre was a spacious and well-equipped touring car endowed with respectable (80mph) performance courtesy of the firm's long-established and ruggedly built overhead-cam six. Breathing through triple SU carburettors, the 1,991cc engine produced 76bhp and was coupled to a four-speed Moss gearbox.
A variety of body styles - some coachbuilt - were available on the 2-Litre chassis, including a four-door model from late 1952. Production continued, to special order only, until 1958, by which time approximately 1,200 had been produced.
Previously registered 'LXL 261', this AC 2-Litre saloon was first registered on 2nd January 1951 to a Mr Poutney of the Meyer Liquid Company, London W1.
Contained within a large box file, accompanying documentation includes a (copy) buff logbook listing previous keepers in the 1970s; sundry 1980s bills from AC Cars; a quantity of expired MoTs;
a V5C Registration Certificate.
The cockpit is a wonderful place to sit, a delightfully patinated ox blood red interior with contrasting
white smiths gauges. The motorcar had a significant amount of work in the 1990’s and the AC blue exudes a patina throughout the cellulose paintwork. Mechanically the motorcar runs, drives, starts and stops as it should, and we would view as running
restoration project.

This is a rare, desirable and classic American muscle car. An genuine early 1966 'GT' coupe, very original, no power brakes, no power steering…this car was built to go fast. Original Raven Black, built in San Jose, CA in October 1965 (1966 cars were built from August 65, so this is an early 66 car). Standard black vinyl interior with a Hurst 4 Speed Manual transmission.
In 1961, Lee Iacocca, vice president and general manager of the Ford Motor Company, had a vision. He imagined a car that would seat four people, have bucket seats, a floor mounted shifter, be no more than 180 inches long, weigh less than 2,500 pounds, and sell for less than $2,500.00. His dream became a reality when the Ford Mustang was born. The first generation Mustang was launched in April 1964 with Ford running three advertising campaigns on all three major TV channels across America at the same time. On the first day the car became available, Ford sold 22,000 Mustangs and by the end of the year, nearly half a million Mustangs had found new homes. A range of engines, body styles and extras ensured that the Mustang had a very broad appeal. In 1965 the 'Mustang GT' was introduced and featured five dial instruments, thicker roll bars, quick ratio steering, dual exhausts that exited through the rear valance, dual mounted fog lights in the grille, and special lower body side stripes. Another popular option was the 'Rally Pac' which added a tachometer and a clock. To this day, the GT models are the most desirable and sought-after of all the Mustangs.
This is a truly great example of a 1966 Mustang GT. 4 speed manual. It has the 289 ci, A Code 4.7-litre which produced 225 bhp. It has spent all it’s life in Southern California. When it was bought by the current owner about 2 years ago, where it had been dry stored in a Huntingdon Beach garage and off the road for many years, it was very solid but needed some work to get it to run again.
The previous owner bought it in 1968/69, his son said his father used to take the car to the Lions Drag Strip, Long Beach CA at weekends before it closed in 72. It was set up for weekend racing at the drag strip as it’s a very quick car.
It has a manual Hurst 4 speed shifter, factory front and rear seat belts, the carpets look new. Headline is all original and in good condition, the radio works. It originally had Center Line rims but these have now been changed back to the original GT rims and new tyres with less that 500 miles on them. Limited slip diff. So apart from cleaning it up and getting it road worthy and drivable this is a very original car.
All taxes and duties are paid, it has a new MOT and tax exempt.

1981 AC 3000 ME
Chassis No. ME116
Engine No. S-11
The dramatic 3000ME was first shown in 1973 but did not actually go on sale until 1979. It was based on a design developed by Lola engineers Peter Bohanna and Robin Stables while working after hours in the Lola drawing office creating the diabolo, after AC acquired the rights at the 1973 London Motor Show; AC Offering an intoxicating blend of Italian style, supercar looks and a mid-mounted Ford 3-litre V6 engine with a 5-speed Hewland gearbox and 120mph performance, it looked set to be another winner but sadly this was not to be. The combination of a worldwide recession and the poor health of company owner Derek Hurlock meant that AC went bust in 1985 after just over 100 examples had been made.
ThisThames Ditton 3000me has a extensive history file, showing thousands of pounds of invoices and receipts, some of the work includes

This is only a short insight to the vast amount of effort that has been poured into this ME. This car pulls strongly using a Webber DFI 40 Carburettor which makes this significantly more powerful than standard, with light handling and great stopping power. This car has been meticulously maintained mechanically, however it does show some age cosmetically with visible paint imperfections, in addition to this there is a tear in the passenger seat on the centre panel seam. This is still a very respectable example of such a rare piece of AC history.

This 1965 Volvo Amazon was built as a rally car from new by the first owner, and as far as we know it was never used to rally. The second owner bought it around 1967 and owned up to late 2015 when the current owner found it just outside Paris and brought it back to the UK in early 2016.
It had been dry stored for 30+ years due to the owner having a family and company car…it has just gone around the clock 100,000km (approx 62,000 miles) which considering it was stored for so long we believe to be true.
The rare dash panel has all Jaeger dials and all but the oil temp gauge work, it has Marchal fog and spot lights integrated into the front grill and other period features.
Since arriving in the UK it has been fitted with the correct overdrive and a new Simmons sports exhaust. The twins carbs were recently rebuilt and the car has had a new MOT (Feb).
We had added a few photos taken in the late 60's with the second owner and as you can see the car is pretty much the same as it is today. The short video was taken during it's time with the previous owner in France before coming to the UK.

Chassis No: 818651003015
Engine No:77425
The Fulvia Saloon was introduced in 1963, replacing the box like Appla and featured a innovative narrow angle overhead cam V4 engine and double wishbone independent suspension. In addition to the curvaceousand lightweight styling from Ercole Spada of Zagato design house in Milan, known for the immortal Aston Martin DB4 Zagato.
The 1298cc engine that is featured in this example had been introducedin 1967 continuing all the way through into the series two cars. These later cars feature the Five speed gearbox that had been implemented as standard from 1971.The nimble Zagato bodied cars proved themselves in motorsport, scoring highly in events such as the Sebring 12 hours and the Daytona 24 hours.
This is a highly sought after right hand drive, was first registered in the UK on the 2nd August 1972 with four previous owners indicated.
The vehicle is mechanically sound, with a strong pulling motor, firm brakes, and light steering. However the bodywork requires attention withvisible paint surface corrosion over the vehicle , yet it is still a presentable example.
The interior is very well kept with only a small area where piping has been damaged on the drivers seat bolster, aside from this all seats, door cards and headlining are in perfect condition.
The vehicle has had a vast amount of work from a marque specialist including a brake overhaul, and refurbishing the steering idler inJune, when a MOTwas provided.
The bumpers have been removed and they are included in the sale.
The Vehicle is seen as arunning restoration where only cosmetic bodywork bodywork is needed, yet it is great example of the Italian coach builtsports model, with investment potential being a rare RHD car.

The vehicle was originally built for competitive use in vintage events, this well executed special boasts a very desirable specification. Reg. No. SV 7548, Chassis No: 10230, Engine No: 9805.
Three years ago the owner (who was an active member of the Lea Francis owners club) located a 1927 Lea Francis 12/40 Type 'M' rolling chassis complete with all its running gear that had lain disused but carefully stored for many years. His find had two great advantages, firstly, the type 'M' 12/40 chassis was one of the lightest in its series. and secondly, it was still fitted with its original 1496cc Meadows 4ED twin port engine. One of the most coveted small engines of the vintage period it retained its twin Solex carburettors and a Scintilla magneto. A comprehensive professional refurbishment was begun soon afterwards. The tweaked four cylinder unit was moved further back in the chassis giving better weight distribution and the potential to fit a super charger to it at a later date. A consideration from the very start as provision was made during the engine rebuild to run a blower. Also to this end, the coolant system has been upgraded following tuned 'Frazer Nash' practice with an additional feed to the back on the cylinder head etc. The four speed manual gearbox with its right hand gate and the efficient rod operated drum brakes have not been altered.
Finished in blue, the aluminium bob-tailed body is nicely proportioned. Trimmed unmarked red leather, the interior features staggered seating and a prominent starter button. Indicative of its dual role, this Lea Francis is equipped with discreet trafficators and powerful headlamps.
A notable and desirable upgrade he undertook was to replace the standard M type axle and propshaft with an original P-Type axle and propshaft these being known to be more robust (the original M –Type axle and propshaft come with the car). There is a whole raft of documentations; invoices and manual that accompanying the car including an FIVA identity card. It also comes with rally timers and a stopwatch attached to the dashboard and some useful tools and spares. Complete with UK re-import documentation, V5 and original registration number with all EU taxes paid. Offered for sale with V5 registration document. Ready for Racing touring or Rallying
