-Italian-built, right-hand-drive example
-Single ownership from 1973-2025
Built at Alfa Romeo’s Arese factory during 1972, this right-hand-drive 2000 GTV was sold new to Cyprus in 1973 to Mr B. Judd. He retained the car until 2025, an exceptional period of ownership spanning more than half a century. A letter from the Alfa Romeo Owners Club’s Giulia 105 Register records chassis number AR2411665, engine number 62047 and its Prugna AR525 colour.
The GTV retains its original colour combination of Prugna over cream and presents substantially to its original specification. Its principal departures from standard are 15-inch GTA-style wheels, Koni adjustable dampers, Eibach springs and electronic ignition. A Facet Red Top fuel pump has recently been fitted. The original wheels and suspension components are included.
The accompanying paperwork records an engine rebuild, refurbishment of the carburettors, extensive work to the braking system and replacement clutch hydraulics. Invoices also document metalwork undertaken in the early 2000s, together with subsequent specialist maintenance. The body presents with the character of older paintwork rather than a recent restoration.
Included with the sale are the Cyprus registration document, original service book, owner’s and workshop manuals, period dealer literature, early tax discs, invoices, original jack and spare wheel, and a quantity of spare parts. With its long-term ownership, original colour scheme and substantial supporting history, this is a particularly appealing example of Alfa Romeo’s celebrated 2000 GTV.
