1964 Triumph TR4-SOLD-

First purchased in Germany by a US serviceman, shipped to the US. The second owner from Columbus, Ohio bought it in 1972 when he was 15 years old and kept it for the next 50 years before being bought and shipped to the UK. It was only taken off the road to have a new clutch, his mechanic convinced him the engine and trans needed to be removed and freshened up at the same time. Life got in the way and the car was moved around and kept in storage for over 10 years, as you can see a few parts have been misplaced or lost over the years…It originally left the factory in red, with a black interior, a steering column lock and overdrive.

The BMIHT Certificate says is was built and dispatched in Aug 64, shipped from Kings Lynn on the vessel Gaasterland to the dealer Walter Hagen & Company, Krefeld in Germany.

Factory options were: rear seat, overdrive, sunvisors, Michelin X tyres, MPH speedometer, wire wheels and hexagonal wheel nut, steering lock.

Car is now stored at our facility in Weybridge, Surrey

Viewing by Prior appointment only.
