Introduced in 1970, the Range Rover combined Land Rover’s established four-wheel-drive capability with V8 performance, coil-sprung suspension and a level of refinement unusual among contemporary off-road vehicles. During the following two decades the model evolved steadily, gaining four-door bodywork and increasingly sophisticated equipment while retaining the basic engineering and distinctive appearance of the original.
By 1991, the Vogue SE represented one of the most highly specified versions of the Range Rover. Powered by the 3.9-litre Rover V8 and equipped with permanent four-wheel drive, it combined the traditional character of the original Range Rover with the greater comfort and refinement of the later models. The accompanying records confirm this example as a 1991-manufactured 3.9-litre petrol Range Rover.
Finished in Ardennes Green, this particular Vogue SE has previously benefited from a mechanical and cosmetic restoration and continues to present very well today.
Its subsequent upkeep has been equally thorough. The underside has been professionally dry-ice detailed, followed by Lanoguard and Dinitrol treatment to the chassis areas, while a full stainless-steel exhaust system is fitted. The extensive history file records continued specialist maintenance with Bishops 4x4, The Chelsea Workshop, RR London and Range Rover Works, with considerable expenditure documented over recent years.
A new set of tyres was fitted in February 2026, while in June 2026 the car received a further oil service, new brake discs and replacement differential and gearbox oils/fluids.
It is accompanied by an extensive history file, MOT history dating back through its life, and its original book pack. The recorded mileage progression is consistent with the mileage displayed today.
